Rodney | 1 comments Your group looked lonely with just you in it Jonny, so I'll start. I just finished Enders Game, Jefferson and the Gunmen, and Powell's Expedition. Enders Game was a nice quick read. I don't read sci-fi alot, but I liked this one. Jefferson's gunmen was an opinonated version of Zebulon Pike, Lewis and Clark, and Aaron Burr's western conquests. It was interesting reading about Pike and Burr, but the Stephen Ambrose book on Lewis and Clark was much much better, and a more detailed account. I don't recall the author of the Powell Expedition , but it was a nice read. I did get tired of the rapids, how many ways can you describe running rapids in 300 pages, i all sounds the same after awhile..

Marty (carrot2220) | 1 comments I almost picked up a copy of powells expedition the other day and decided I had to many other things waiting on me to read.
Enders Game is amazing even if I have a pretty low personal opinion of Orson Scott Card, hes a damn good story teller.
The only Louis L'Amour book I have ever read was the haunted mesa wich is not at all like all of the other books he wrote, grandmother loves any thing by L'Amour or Zane grey.

Mae | 1 comments I've decided that I like reading Carl Hiaasen's books, but now I need to stop goofing off and start writing papers. :(
