Jo, I'm glad to see you posting. There's a folder--"Currently reading and recommendations"--that this topic would fit under. Just click on the title of the folder you'd like to add to, and you'll be able to post. Less work than creating a separate folder, and we'd like to avoid excess folders. Thanks!

Finished Silken Prey just the other day. Jo, I'm a long time fan of Lucas Davenport and company. Glad you are enjoying the series.

Nancy McWilliams | 32 comments Ditto on John Sanford/Lucas Davenport/fucking Flowers. I've read them all, but "Silken Prey". Looking forward to a good summer read. n

Cheri (cherimatson) | 26 comments Add me to the list that loves Sandford. This is one of those series that I like to reread every few years. Oh, and Nancy, don't forget about the Kidd books too.

I haven't gotten Silken Prey either, but it's at the top of my "Buy" list.

Love all the Sandford books. Found it funny that Kidd showed up in one of the Prey books -- older but just as wise!

I haven't forgotten, just not as frequent. Thanx for the reminder. n

Mary | 9 comments Lucas never really ages, does he?

message 9: by Nancy (new)

Nancy McWilliams | 32 comments Actually Lucas is aging, as are all the familiar characters. I've read "Silken Prey". Won't spoil it for anyone. There is a new 'fucking Flowers' story out soon. I haven't forgotten the Kidd stories, just haven't seen a new one recently.

I may be repeating myself but the TV attempt with Mark Harmon as Davenport was, in my opinion a huge, huge mistake. And I'm a Harmon fan. He didn't, doesn't have the stature for Davenport. Ditto Tom Cruise as Reacher. The characters, as written, are at least a foot taller than the actors chosen.

Thanx for touching base, n
