ida-vaziri | 163 comments All scenes involving Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman are amazing. :)

Specifically, though, I love when Harry rides Buckbeak for the first time, Snape's memories, and moments between Harry and Hedwig. :')

message 8: by Kris (new)

Kris | 50 comments Hard to choose just one, so I'll list out a few :)

Hermione punching Malfoy in Prisoner of Azkaban, Dumbledore and Harry retrieving the fake locket in Half-Blood Prince, Snape's memories in Deathly Hallows.

The last one can't be called a favourite but it is the most impactful scene. You know what I mean.

Carol (mynameiscarol) | 5 comments I wanted to dislike Snape for a long time ... and even managed to, but when I look back, Snape's memories and his dying are extremely memorable and moving. I still don't like everything he's done, though... even if he managed to earn a soft spot in my heart in the end. I have mixed feelings about all of that and that's one of the reasons it's currently a favourite part of mine.

message 10: by Sidney (new)

Sidney Hauk | 115 comments I loved Snape's memories. Jk Rowling only told Alan Rickman Snape's background and future. No other actor knew their characters background or future. You can tell, especially at the beginning of The Sorcerer's Stone, when Snape looks at Harry for the first time. He looks at him and it looks like he's thinking, "he has Lily's eyes." And then when Harry's scar starts hurting and he touches it, Snape looks curiously at Quirell. (Yes I spelled that wrong) He is the best actor for his part.

➳Halina➳ Can't... seem...to...decide!

message 13: by Annamarie (new)

Annamarie (ilovebooks143) Lol such sorry

Beyond the Pages with Eva K (beyondthepageswithevak) It's a toss up...
1) When Luna speaks with Harry about He Who Shall Not Be Named (as she feeds the creatures that only she and Harry can see)
2) When Harry, Ron, and Hermoine bury Dobby
3) When Harry gives Dobby a sock and then he protects Harry from Malfoy's father
4) When Harry fights beside Sirius and then... (sniff, sniff, gulp)
5) When Harry and Dumbledore fight Voldemort in the Ministry of Magic

All of these were powerful scenes with a high emotional charge. They get me every time.

message 18: by Annamarie (new)

Annamarie (ilovebooks143) Hmmm.. The funniest is probably "don't forget the pincers" and probably Snape's death and memories because phenomenal acting

message 19: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey I love the scene where Ron and Hermione finally kiss! Even though I kinda wish they did it like in the book, I always get so happy when I watch it!

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

When Harry and Ginny are making out and Fred or George (I DON'T KNOW THE FLIPPIN DIFFERENCE) is all, 'Mooooooorning.'

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh my god that's hilarious XD
I like it when harry in the first film when all the letters arrive is just randomly jumping around trying to grab one and uncle Vernon's yelling and Dudley's like, "daddy's gone mad, hasn't he?!"

message 22: by B (new)

B (deathandchocolate) | 94 comments oh! and in the fourth when snape keeps banging harry and ron's heads down. and i love the pincers scene too ;)

The patronus is beautiful:)

message 30: by Ember (new)

Ember Suh | 8 comments I love the scene when Umbridge was asking Snape if he failed to take the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher position. "Obviously." (Ron in the background laughing). It was also funny when George and Fred were telling Ron that he has to pay even though Ron is their brother. There are a lot of scenes I liked.
