Welcome to the group! We're sure that you'll have a lot of fun here. To ensure that everyone has the best time possible, there are a few rules/guidelines that everyone needs to follow.
Rules of Chat 1. Keep cursing to a minimum. 2. Think before you post.
*Keep in mind that you are always being monitored in the games and the chat topics.
Rules of RP 1. Each RP should be three sentences minimum. 2. Godmodding/powerplaying is not allowed. Powerplaying is when you control another person's character in any way. This includes killing their character before they have a chance to advance. 3. Be realistic. These people are teenagers, not superheroes. No one can live with an arrow through their stomach for very long. The most powerful tributes would be from the Career districts. 4. Try to be creative! We don't need five groups of lovers in each Arena. 5. That said, if your character is in love with another, keep the RPs appropriate. That means PG-13. There will be no negotiating. 6. Be active. This is important. Once you fill a spot in an Arena, be sure to participate at least twice a week.
If someone fails to abide by any of these rules, the consequences will be as follows:
1st Offense: They will receive a message stating that they broke a rule. 2nd Offense: They will receive a final warning message. 3rd Offense: The person's character will be injured/mods will lose their position. 4th Offense: The person's character will be killed.
If the offense is serious enough and the mods see fit to ban the member, the member will be notified first to see if we can work anything out with you.
Guidelines for Entering an Arena
Here are the steps you should follow if you want to participate in an Arena.
1. Read all the rules in the Rules Topic. 2. Consider if you have enough time to keep up with a busy Arena. If so, proceed to step three. 3. Make a Character in the Arena's character topic. Characters forms should be filled out with as much detail as possible. 4. Wait for your character to be approved. 5. Once your character is approved, go to the Training Center topic to learn new skills and meet potential allies. 6. Fill out a post in the Training Center to receive a Training Score. 7. Once the Arena is posted, prepare for to fight for your life! Be sure to check out the Standings topic for info about the dead, the projected winner, and who will receive the next parachute!
How to get a parachute:
For every kill you get, you get one more sponsor voting for you. For every day of the Arena, there will be a raffle to see who will get the silver parachute for that day. The more sponsors you have, the more times your name gets put into the raffle.
