The Perks of Being a Book Lover discussion

I was just wondering what everyones thoughts on e-readers like kindles and nooks? If you have one, has it helped grow your reading collection? And if you are against them, why?

(sorry it took so long to respond; I've been so busy!)

I have an old kindle, and it's not my favorite thing in the world. If I can find a book on there for free or at a greatly discounted price, I'll read it on there. However, for the most part, I tend to stick more towards actual paper books :)
