anyway, really looking forward to this one! Can't wait to see the author's take on ''Aliens''. No Alien-related books have satisfied me since the Lux series LOL

Too late! I'm about to pull my hair out :D I really want to join the buddy reads (in case you haven't noticed) but I don't think I can go out to buy them all! I'll have to try to work something out. I'll let you guys know though!

Lol I went out and bought them all except the ONE that I had. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!! I LOVE my buddies! ;)

I have a teeny tiny idea of what that is like! My husband transferred from Oklahoma to Missouri for his job at GM and we only had our son who was 6 months old at the time. Good Luck with the move Trisha! Hope you at least some reading in! lol! :)

bummer, this one starts today but I wont be able to get to it until I get my copy. I had to send back the copy I received from Amazon because it was so damaged so I'm still waiting for the new one, I'll jump in when it arrives!

Good luck with getting ready Trisha - I can only imagine how stressful/exhausting that would be.

I'm about 1/3 of the way through, Chapter 12 I believe.

I like the concept of this book way more than the execution. I'm not a fan of the flowery, poetic writing ("I'm at one with the Ro/the Grass/the Universe/blah blah we get it"). And I'm not a fan of Dol, either.

I like Lucas and Ro, and I love the idea of Icons/Icon Children, and the Embassy City itself.

With a different protagonist/writing style, I would be in love with this book. But as of now, just meh.
