Roxie decided that the first day of school was pointless, so why not just skip the rest of the day? Plus she needed to go back to her dorm and get a new pair of shoes since she officially lost the first half of the pair she was wearing earlier, though it was all her fault anyways. On the way to her dorm, completely barefoot, she decided to take a detour into the forest, because she was barefoot and it completely made sense to go on and walk around the forest like it was no big deal. While she thought she was the queen of the world and god's gift to mankind, Roxie enjoyed simple things like walking around the forest even if it meant ditching class in the process. Though perhaps she should have stopped at her dorm room to grab another pair of shoes on the way there. Oh well, too late for that now.
