Me, Myself, and I | 140 comments Notebook in hand and idea in head for a new play, music blasted through Tyson's headphones. All but drowning out the rest of the world. He cut through the grass, heading toward the pond and the picnic table seated near it. It was one of the easiest places to draw inspiration from at Kale, his go-to place to began a new piece. Not to mention the fact that hardly anyone ever visited this place. His eyes were scanning in front of him, watching the water of the pond with similarly colored irises as he started under a tree. Finally glancing down only to realize he was two seconds away from crashing into a girl leaned back in the grass.

Shit.

Cursing under his breath, he veered, hoping to avoid tripping over her. And practically smacked into the tree. Bracing a hand against the bark to prevent himself from doing a face plant into it, black nails flashing, he gritted his teeth. At the presence of another human being, it almost felt like his territory was being invaded. Seriously, didn't this girl realize that this spot had already been claimed? By a certain bipolar, uncivilized junior majorly lacking people skills. One did not just stop by unannounced for a-- rest? What the hell?

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Walking out by the pond, Carson was glad for the quiet space. It was relaxing out by the pond and you know there was the fact that by the pond had been where he first met Bristol. Granted that first meeting wasn't exactly the best moment in the world, as from what he remembered he'd called her a 'goodie-two shoes fashion picky princess with no real future' and he may or may not have tripped her so she fell into the pond when she had been walking off. Oh yeah, not the best first impression. Of course....after laughing with all his friends, when his friends had walked off he had walked over and helped her out of the water, muttering an apology. He hadn't meant for her to fall into the pond, just stumble a bit. Either way, sitting down by the edge of the pond he leaned back on his hands getting comfortable as he waited for Bristol to show up.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay The moment her hands had touched his back he knew who it was, accompanied by her voice only a few seconds later, it was enough to confirm his initial reaction and make his smile spread across his face. "Damn, that really was a crappy insult. Fourth grader status." The more he thought about that insult the more crappy it seemed to become. It really was a lame insult, something that a kid would say, not really worthy of his sophomore self. Looking over at Bristol sitting beside him he smiled, "You look pretty." Of course, in his mind she always looked pretty. Of course, Carson didn't care much for fashion, it was another reason people didn't understand why they were together. I mean you had Bristol on one hand, the fashion queen, and then on the other you had Carson, who mainly wore jeans old band t-shirts and converse. Not exactly the type of people you'd think would start dating.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay With Bristol sitting closer to him, and with her hand in his he felt completely comfortable. Bristol had that way about her, no matter where they were he always felt more comfortable around her. "Mmhmm, exactly, the way you looked was just beautiful enough to stun me." He teased lightly and then nodded at her explanation about her dress. That was the case, her father was always getting her the best stuff and what not. Carson supposed it was part of the fashion world, which was why the one time that he had let Bristol dress him was when he was first going to meet her dad. With a fashion icon for her father? He'd wanted to look decent when he met the guy. "How are your classes? Anything interesting?" Bristol no doubt would know that he hadn't gone to any of his classes of the day. The only time he went to his classes was when he really had nothing else to do. Normally he could always find something to do.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay "You'll get it. Senior year, really those are the only kids allowed in that class." Shrugging his shoulders slightly he nudged her shoulder lightly as well, smiling at her. "Don't worry about it. Your designs are genius, of course you're going to get in that class. Next year for sure. Even if you don't, screw it. You're fantastic enough that you don't need that dumb class. School doesn't prepare you for the real world anyway." At least that was how Carson saw it. You didn't learn anything real important in school, just a bunch of nonsense stuff. Smiling at her he watched as her eyes narrowed and then he cleared his throat slightly, his smile tainted with a sheepish sort of attitude. "Well you know.....I did think about it. But with my first class being British Literature...well I don't need to know what the British read. So there was no point..and then I just got....distracted?" He smiled a bit hoping she would let it slide. After all it was just the first day of school...did she really expect him to go to the classes he had?

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Carson nodded, "mmmhmm you're right. It's time I told you....I'm a secret fashion-holic. I've got Vogue magazines hidden under my bed. I just.....didn't want you to know about my hobbies." He wasn't able to keep serious about it for long though and choking out a bit of laughter he shrugged. "I know you're amazing in fashion because I see the way other girls look at you for new trends and what not." He didn't have to be a fashion expert to know his girlfriend was fashionable. She just was and he knew that. Listening to her speech about the benefits of school he sighed and nodded, "yeah, okay...school is good. But it's only good if you're smart, like you are or the nerds, but for people like me? It's not beneficial, it's a way to be judged and labeled." Carson just didn't care about school. He was going through it, and trying not to get expelled for Bristol, and he went to his classes often enough to pass, but he just didn't like school. It was another way for his family to criticize him. Even when he had tried it hadn't been good enough, giving up was just a better option. If you can't join them, screw them. That was his motto anyway. At her look though he sighed and nodded. "Fine. I'll go to class......if only because you asked me to.' He muttered relenting on the subject. Okay....so maybe he was a little whipped when it came to Bristol, but he'd do anything to make her happy. Besides, he had to graduate to keep dating her and what not, her father wouldn't let her date just some screw up who couldn't even graduate.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Carson laughed under his breath and leaning closer to Bristol, looked around for a moment as if checking to make sure they were indeed alone. Whispering in her ear, his voice low and quiet one could hear the smirk in his voice, "Actually, the teachers only pass me because they don't want to deal with me the next year." Pulling back he laughed again, that was his own personal theory. That and the fact that his parents were rich and contributed to the school, so no doubt that was part of the reason he was pushed onwards as well. No child left behind and all that crap. "PE and Music. Glad to know which classes I get to look forward to." A.K.A glad to know which classes I have to show up to. Watching her pull off her heels and dip her feet into the cold water he shook his head, "you'll get sick like that, Bris." he muttered lightly, Bristol was always worried about his future, and in a turn of events, Carson was always worried about Bristol's health. He could smoke like a chimney but if she even tried to pick up a cigarette he'd unleash hell's wrath.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [only around her xD well actually he's like the ridiculous baddie xD]

Feeling her grip tighten slightly on his hand, Carson's eyes reactively went to their intertwined hands. Her soft breathed out question of suspending time made it pretty easy to guess what was on her mind. The fact that this year he was graduating and next year she would be coming back to Kale without him. Although next year he supposed it would be easier for her, after all her team would welcome her back with open arms and people would befriend her again without a care in the world. Tilting his head and pressing his lips against the top of her head, at the crown of where her hairline was he smiled softly. Prolonging the contact against her forehead before pulling away and giving her hand a soft reassuring squeeze. "It's okay, Bris. We still have the rest of the school year together." Smiling cheerfully at her he paused and then continued, "And for the record I would be a doting boyfriend who would look after you." Now that she said they had other classes together. Well shit...now he had to go to class. That would suck. But then once he figured out the classes they had together he could just go to the those ones. Unless they had all of them together. Which was entirely possible seeing as he just took average classes and she was in honors and higher ranking ones. Still....he didn't think it was that possible. "Fine. I'll go to all my classes for the rest of the week. Promise." Running his freehand in an x shape across his chest he smiled at her. It was these moments he loved. The time where it was just the two of them.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [yay! I think they're an adorable couple xD]

Carson nodded, "Yeah, yeah whatever. You're the concerned about my future girlfriend." Laughing slightly he smiled at her, while his words may have been poisoned with hints of sarcasm, he was smiling because he enjoyed it. So what if his 'friends' said he was whipped and teased him about it relentlessly. He didn't care, because he enjoyed it. Well he didn't do everything she wanted, but if being whipped meant that he enjoyed her company? Then hell yeah he was whipped. Honestly he didn't care either, he just liked spending time with her. "You know you'll be fine next year. You'll be here at Kale and I'll be out there in the world....doing....something." Yeah he had a whole plan after Kale. Not. I mean sure he'd apply for universities and what not, but even if he got in it's not like he'd suddenly want to go to his classes. Nah, he was just thinking more along the lines of getting lucky and making life that way. Maybe winning the lottery. His life plan wasn't much. But he did know that Bristol and him.....well they were a ticking time bomb. Getting closer to their expiration date every day. Mostly because Carson was going to break up with her. At the end of the year of course. Give her the freedom she'd need to find someone better. Not that he'd ever clue her in on that. Sitting there silently his lips pursed slightly at the thought. His mind whirring in deep thought.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [yeah xD but the group will die out before that happens xD]

Leaning over he nudged her again with his shoulder, "Hey now. Don't worry, you lived without me and you'll do fine again. Besides, you'll still know me. I just won't be at Kale. We can still talk and skype and facetime and what not." Smiling at her he leaned closer to her, still smiling, "C'mon cheer up, Bris, or i'm going to have to make you cheer up." There was obvious mischievous intent behind his words and the way he was suddenly closer to her only added more danger to his words. What was it he was going to do? You don't know. Nobody knew. That is until he reached forward, pulling her closer to him, twisting their position so her back was against his chest and his fingertips were dancing across her ribcage and stomach. Tickling her. The most Dangerous weapon of all.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [you have so many 1x1's xD and which CelestexAsher. The Glass one or Vamp one?]

After a few moments of her squeals of laughter and her gasps between breaths for him to stop, Carson did indeed stop tickling her, instead his arms just holding her in a tight hug against his chest and feeling glad to have her so close. With her so close to him and a slight breeze blowing, her perfume wafted towards him and he sighed softly, comforted by the scent of her perfume. The familiar honeysuckle and white hibiscus scent that she seemed to always have. Hell maybe it wasn't perfume, although he was pretty sure it was. Either way she always smelled pretty, and that was something he was going to miss. He had to smile though, and smile he would. But right now? Face serious, and his voice void of all joking he shook his head, "I'd never forget you, Bristol." He used her full name, wanting her to know that he was serious about that. He'd never forget her. Not in a million years. But he wasn't going to hold her back. Smiling now though he shrugged his shoulders and kissed her cheek before speaking again, "Don't worry about it now, Bris. We'll figure out the future when it comes. We always do."

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [alright. Vamp Celsher, Glass Broocholas, and Lerry xD Our charries names really just don't connect in any sort of pretty ways xD]

At the shift in positions, Carson rose a brow, after all with her loosely straddling him like that her dress rose up slightly and well he was still a guy. Looking at Bristol though and hearing her words he smiled lightly, a soft smile that was more of a sympathy smile. Sure, he was amazing, but only when it came to Bristol. Which he was fine with. If he had to be good at anything, he'd want it to be making her comfortable and happy. "Not as great as you are, Bris." He replied, glad to see her smiling again. He hated when she worried about the future, only made him feel guilty. He didn't want to feel guilty. He wanted to cherish their time together and have fun. Be happy with her. "So, are you rooming with one of your friends? Or who did you get stuck rooming with?" With Bris he didn't always feel the need to talk, instead they had a comfortable silence that could hang between them and then when they walked away he felt like he'd had the best conversation of his life. He just felt that at ease around her, however he did like to talk to her, just to hear her opinions on things.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay [haha it's all good xD]

Carson laughed and leaning forward smirked at her, closing the space between them and looking into her eyes. His hands rested on her waist, holding her close to him. "She might be a scholarship." Gasping he smirked, emphasizing the word as though it was something worse than cancer or something. Honestly that was how the students of Kale acted when they found out about the scholarship students, his parents had been thrilled. Saying stuff that if students were smart enough to get in without having money then it was good on them. Kissing her lips lightly he pulled back and then sighed softly and smiled, "Besides, I'm sure that if she isn't you'll be able to fashion-ize her before the end of semester."

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Just being this intimate and close to Bristol made Carson's breath hitch slightly and his heart seemed to flutter. This was part of the reason he had liked her so much, from the moment he saw her his heart fluttered a bit. It sounded cliche to anyone he would've said it to, but it was the truth. It was just a lovely little shocking moment, just knew from the moment he looked into those big bambi eyes of hers. Seeing the little flash in her eyes at the thought of it being a scholarship kid, he smiled at her softly, lowering his voice, not to a whisper but quieter than usual. "Hey, they wouldn't be able to hate you for that. It's not like you chose her for a room-mate." Smiling at her he just didn't want her to worry about something that she couldn't fix.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Bristol may have been willing to ditch a few classes to spend some more time with him, but like hell he would ever let her do that. His luck she would get in trouble and it would go on her record and there was no way he was letting that happen. Smirking slightly as he spoke he couldn't help the teasing note that entered his tone, "Don't tell me the rumors are true and I am a bad influence on you?" That was a popular little rumor floating through the hallways of Kale, that he was bringing down her good status and she was actually attempting to buff up his. He'd even herd a few people say it was a lame attempt to re-create a walk to remember. He certainly didn't think so. No way would he want their relationship to be that sad. A note of seriousness crept into his voice at his next words, reaching up he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, his fingertips trailing along her skin, taking his time to do the action. "You wouldn't have to be....an outcast. They'd take you back with open arms." He knew she would never agree, but he wanted to offer it to her anyway. The chance. To be part of her team this year.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay The change on her face was shocking, incredibly quick and he couldn't help but shake his head immediately in response, no way he wanted her to look so hurt and upset. "Of course not, Bris. I wouldn't be able to survive Kale without you, you know that." Smiling slightly at her he leaned forward, kissing her forehead. His other arm wrapped around her waist, holding her close and his free hand pressed against her shoulder blades, holding her tight against him in a hug. After a moment he pulled away and smiled, "I was just wondering if you were getting sick of me yet." He was obviously teasing by the tone of his voice and the light of his eyes. He knew that if Bristol ever really got sick of him she would dump him on the sidewalk like last season's Prada pumps. Of course she wouldn't be quite that harsh but it was more or less the same sort of meaning.
