Yep, that's even better Char. Um, unless that means you're not happy... then, well, that's prolly worse. (Dontcha love noncommittal answers?)
I love the way new people I don't even know call you "Char" :), I so did that! *walks away snickering*
Well, for me it's a kind of habit to shorten people's names. All my friends call me Sher, and my friends Sharon & Sarah are Shar & Sar, respectively. So, Char just felt more comfortable. Charissa just seems like a Char (with all her fiesty fun-lovin'ness). :)
(Sept, she isn't keen on it, cause her name is pronounced Cuh-rissa...so phonetically the shortage should be Car, but she likes that even less...I just like teasing her.)
Charissa wrote: "I actually like wearing compression garments. It makes my back stop hurting."Compression garments. Interesting terminology.
Larry, dude, you're giving me seizures with all your changes. Stop it!!!
Amelia.... only you know my secret heart. Mostly I just try and ignore the use of "Char". I'm so not a hamburger!! I should have started this account with my nickname, then everyone would call me Daki like they are supposed to.
C'est la vie! C'est la guerre!

Daki, dear...nuthin but love, baby, nothin but love!
yes yes yes.... but when I did that everyone was confused and didn't know who I was! I have resigned myself to being called Char. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
Deep apologies madam. See, I was pronouncing your name all wrong anyway, I thought it was 'Shar' with a C. And, I don't have any sharp sticks at the moment, so I'll just refrain from both. :)

Only in America, people.
