In the past 7 days I bought all 5 books of Percy Jackson. The first one from Higgin Bothams, Manipal for a discount of 20% (Rs. 240), the rest ordered from flipkart with a total discount of 35-40% with each book costing around Rs. 190. And to my delight, I received the shipment in less than 24 hours of ordering.
My next quest would be Hobbit, as my son is already clamoring for it.

There are a couple of shops in Laxmi Nagar which have a huge pile of books being sold at a flat rate of Rs-25. Most of them are autobiographies of reality TV stars and old US republican leaders. But if you sift through them enough (for half an hour or so,) sometimes you can find some nice books. I checked Amazon.in and these books are still being sold for Rs 250 or more. Lucky me :)
My office gave me a 500 Rs Crossword gift voucher for my bday, with which I bought

Its just a person preaching to an audience and the speech is just divided into chapters. But I liked it immensely...somehow it had a profound effect on me.This time I was able to derive the exact meaning of the lines because it is given in a simple and direct way and not in the form of a story. So I rated it 4/5.
