Lexi is sitting on the beach, looking into the sunset. Sitting on the driftwood log with her toes in the sand, she is in her own world, totally oblivious to real life untill someone is sitting on the log next to her;
'Woah!" she says, "How did you get here so fast?! I was expecting to wait for at least another hour!"

"My dad is taking some new girl on a date," says her friend Jake, sighing. "So I left early."

"Ouch!" (sigh) "Anything else new?" she says glumly.

"Well, he told me before he left that if this whole girlfriend thing works out, he wants to move. But I don't care. I'm not going with him--no matter what."

"Nice move! He'll be furious! He'll kill you! What will you do?"

He sighs heavily. "I don't know... anyway, why did you want to meet me here?"

"I have want to run away also! my dad is being really mean to me! He like even gives me EXTRA homework! Like I can do that on top of all the stuff that I already have! Sheesh!" Lexi sighs.

"Extra homework? Like what? You're already swamped with your classes... did you just say, you want to run away with me? Where do you want to go?"

"Hawii? France? Flordia? Canada? London? Anywhere!"

"Are you serious?! We're going to need someone's help--" he is cut off as someone else he knows walks toward them.

"Hey! Josh! How ya doin? Why are YOU here?"
