Did Ajex die befor Helen was born?

Mya Cause it said people thought he died 21 years ago or something... Y did they think that??? But her really died 19 years ago... How did Lucas's aunt know that??? Even if people thought he died 21 years ago wouldn't they know he died 4 years before Helen was born? That's what confuses me!
