Trans-Atlantic Bibliophiles discussion

I took "These is my words" on a trip with me this week and read it. I very much enjoyed it. Some things made me laugh out loud -- particularly when Sarah decides to "fix" the "wagon" of a sister-in-law. Some parts made me tear up. I thougt it gave great insight into pioneer life. I don't want to say more at this point because I don't want to spoil it for anyone!

I'm so glad you liked it! I thought it was really moving, and absolutely hilarious in some parts. There are two sequels, but I haven't read them yet.
