I'm actually interested to hear what kind of books you like to read!?I'm a young adult/new adult reader, supernatural, all that kinds of stuff!
One of the best books there are, are the following
and also those:
(still missing Losing Hope)
Those are some of my favorites. But I love books, so I have a lot of favorites :D
I've heard a lot about all of those books, and they're on my list. I've actually fallen WAY behind on my reading with everything else that's going on. :(
Currently I'm reading Divergent -- I haven't completely made up my mind on it yet. I'm somewhere around the middle, and it's getting better.
I tend to be really eclectic in my tastes of just about everything. Books, movies, music, so I read a lot of different things. Some of my favorite books of all time are
The Bean Trees A Prayer for Owen Meany A Little Princess Dragon Wing (and the rest of the books in that series) plus Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia ... LOTS of different books.
Actually, it's one of the things I most miss about working in a school -- the every day access to the library there and picking books from whatever shelf I was staring at during a staff meeting, rather than just what's popular at the moment.
That's how I discovered Gregor the Overlander

Yeah, I can imagine that other things took up your time now! I'm a fast reader and really read a lot, which is why it's really hard for me to actually pick books that are my favorite!I loved Divergent actually, because I thought it was a refreshing idea, something I haven't read in that way before.
Honestly, most of those books don't ring a bell for me I have to admit, but of course Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia do, which I both read and loved as well! So I'll be checking the others out for sure!
Oh, I can imagine that's what you miss. Libraries in German are just not really any good. I mean, since I read most of the books in English, it's hard for me to find any library that has the amount of books I wanna read in English!
When you look up the book, at the bottom you can choose between having the link shown there or the cover! I didn't see it at first either and edited it a few times before I got it right LOL

Oh, yeah, I'm sure that would be a problem living in Germany and wanting to read in English -- a Kindle must come in pretty handy.
Those are all good books -- very different from each other, and yet all my favorites somehow. :)
Divergent is a very interesting idea, it just feels like the real story of it hasn't quite started in the part where I'm at. It's very well written and interesting, though.
