Well this seems to be the right place to put this so I am the author of a YA horror series that currently (well, as of today) has two books out and one more coming in December.
The first is The Rift:

The Description would be:
Rachael Taylor has returned from the grave with no memory of who she is or which of the two worlds she exists in is real. In one world she is a teenager living what is considered the normal life. In the other she is tormented night and day in a burning city. When strange creatures start to invade both worlds, she must discover what she is before everything collapses.

The second book which just came out today is The Deceived:


The description for this one is:
The world is at peace. Everything is as it should be with the three kingdoms divided and united. But not everything is as it appears…
With Rachael under the control of Elizabeth, the leadership of Earth is quickly rotting from the inside out.
Jesse continues his search to find out what happened to the woman he loves, discovering secrets that would have been better left forever hidden beneath the surface.
Behind it all a far darker power is stirring as the queen of Earth completes the final pieces of a puzzle with consequences no one could have ever foreseen.


The series is a lot of horror on the YA level. Angels (but not the typical kind. The evil, scheming type), demons, and other paranormal creatures and characters. There is also some creepy asylum chapters in the first book.
