How does one format a book so that it looks like an actual book in Microsoft word?

At this point I have 18k words for a story and I'm curious what this will look like and how many pages it is.

Is there anyone with publishing experience or any clear references that can help?

Google has a million different sources but its easy to feel overwhelmed.

I would worry more about your word count. I think about 40, 000 is the bare minimum to be considered a book by industry standards, and I'm not sure about that. It was something I read somewhere like a year ago. Wish I could be a little more helpful with the other stuff, but I'm not too tech savvy. A friend formatted my book for Amazon.
