A great bridge spanning the sharply-edged valley to the north of Hogwarts and connecting to the courtyards, reaching possible even two hundred feet into the air this arching bridge provides a awe-inspiring if vertigo-inspiring as well view of Hogwarts which is visible between the sixth and seventh spans of the bridge. Flags fly high on the viaduct walls, iron torches flicker above at nightfall and many students come out here for a thrill or a breath of air.

Gen sighed feeling powerless, a spell would give them away but yet she didn't want to leave Eriq cold especially after such a shock, after one moment of thought she took off her sheepskin-lined wool jacket and put it on Eriq saying "Take it." in the cold and wet the words coming out as a hiss.

Eriq shook his head violently and shoved it back at her. " Absolutely not" Lightning flashed and illuminated the sky.

Gen sighed "Okay it's beneath your dignity to wear a girl's coat, fine then freeze to death." but she kept her arm holding the jacket out to Eriq stubbornly "Look, you'll freeze. Would Anna want you to not take it?" she demanded at the end of her proverbial rope.

Eriq eyes saddened. He took it and wrapped it around himself. " Don't use Anna as a way to manipulate me! What do you think she's going to think when she finds out Im a seer" he scowled.

Gen glared stonily at him "She'll continue to love to or as much as thirteen year old's can." she snapped "And if it means saving your neck I'll use whatever I can." she snapped her small mouth shut her words surprising even herself. Did she just say that?

Eriq shifted uncomfortably feeling as though her words had a deeper meaning, " Whats that supposed to mean?!" he snapped back

Gen sighed "It means you thickhead that somehow I actually care about you, it must come from getting you out of all these scrapes," she didn't add the fact that she had gotten him into a fair number of them as well "And so am not about to watch you freeze okay!?" she barked partly to cover her slight embarrassment.

Eriq didn't have a response to that so he just leaned his head back against the wall. He looked, frail, and tired, and confused.

Knowing she didn't either Gen rested back on her heels staring around the viaduct from the silvery, rain-dropleted ash and cottonwood to the small and olive green weeping willows below in the canyon, the storm was starting to subside its thundering and gen risked a look out "It looks like they've given up." she whispered hesitantly.

Eriq stood and leaned out over the edge. " I agree with you their.." he pushed himself a little farther out " But how in the world are we getting back in." By now his feet were hardly touching the ground he had leaned so far over

Gen's eyes narrowed "For god's sake Eriq you're going to fall off that," here she used a mild curse word "bridge!" she cried annoyed and more than a little worried, by now a crafty glint entered her hazel eyes and she stood to her feet "I think I just know how..."

Eriq turned around a glint in his eyes " You don't mean.." he grinned (( Bleh! ok. :P))

((OH MY GOD! how in the- I just was creating a new folder for it and it seems that it just was...hidden? that's insane! not my finest modding moment there. How the heck did that happen?!))

Genevieve grinned widely "It would include having to sneak into Honeydukes and crawl through a four-foot tall passageway though." she offered mischievously "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Eriq grinned back his eyes alight " Most definetly!" He Said tossing her coat back to her. (( lol nice E. :D ))

Gen smiled and flipped her hair back from her shoulders onto her back and eyes twinkling looked over to the tiny twinkling lamps of Hogsmeade "Honeydukes?" she asked with a grin and a nod her of head.

" Why of course!" he said before starting to walk forward and lighting his wand.

Genevieve grinned and lengthened her strides hair bouncing on her back and rain petering down and striking the stone and their faces, lighting the tip of her wand she grinned and they strode forwards into the night.

Lavinia leaned against the railing of the bridge, the breeze softly lifting her hair.

Eric walked out on the bridge looking down watching his feet.

Lavinia looked out at the grounds, excited that she was here.

Eric saw a pair of feet by the side of the bridge and looked up. "Hello." He spoke quietly.

Lavinia jumped slightly, then looked over at the boy who had walked over to you. "Hello." She said her head held high in a 'I think I'm better than you' sort of way.

"What are you doing?" He asked indicating to how she was holding her head higher.

"I don't know what you mean." She said smoothing her skirt.

"You are holding your head higher as of you are better." He said and rolled his eyes "you know exactly what I mean."

"I'm not holding my head higher as if I was better. I am holding my head higher, because I am better." She stated.

"And why do you think you are better?" He asked looking down at her.

"You mean why do I know I am better? Well, look at me, then look at you." She said as though it were obvious.

Eric rolled his eyes. "Little girl you can't even compare to me." He stated.

"And why is this?" She asked, rolling her eyes.

"I'm taller, I'm cuter, I'm smarter, I'm older." He said "I'm so sorry to disappoint you.

"Taller, yes. Cuter, no. Smarter, probably not, and older yes. That just means you'll die faster." She said, smirking.

"And that means you will die young." He smirked.

"Die young? What? I don't even know what you are talking about now." She said, folding her arms.

"It's because you aren't smart enough." He said and smirked, he didn't like talking to people his age but didn't mind bothering little kids.

"Whatever." she said, rolling her eyes.

"Did you know only people who know they lost the fight say whatever?" He asked her smirking at the ground.

"Did you know that only people who know that the person they are talking to is better than them look at the ground?" She asked, smirking at him.

"Did you know that only little girls would say that?" He asked her looking up. "And I'm not a people person." He said "I hate people."

"Well as you just stated, I'm not a person. I'm a 'little girl'." She said, raising her eyebrows.

"Oh wow you are even dumber then I thought." He said "did you know that little girls are part of the human race too?" He asked her rolling his eyes.

"A duh." She said, rolling her own eyes. "Besides, why are you even picking on a 'little girl' anyway?"

"A little girl is different from a little girl who thinks she's all that but really isn't." He said looking at her.

She looked at him with raised eyebrows. "So you saying that I'm not important?" She questioned.
