I absolutely love Bronwyn Parrys writing Joanne...I've been invited to the launch of Darkening Skies this weekend, but we're unable to go:( I haven't been able to buy it yet, but SOON!!! They are a loosely linked trilogy, but on the other hand, they could definitely be read as stand-alone.
Oh no. I'm very much looking forward to reading the new book. It was meant to be released yesterday, and I'm going to find it when I go shopping later on today or tomorrow. I've quite enjoyed all of Bronwyn Parry's work to date. Did you read her sort story 'Dear Ruth'?
Haven't read 'Dear Ruth' just yet. But i've read all of her novels. Bronwyn Parry is quick a good Aussie writer. As i said, for some reason, the latest installment just, does not catch me that much as previous work. Maybe i got grater expectation for it than what it delivers.I can't put my finger as to what it lack of in that novel. Not the matter of the romance or sex, more so, i don't know. Maybe just me looking for more from it. :)
I picked up Darkening Skies this morning...can't wait to read it! I also enjoyed Dear Ruth, even though it is very short, it's very sweet as well. A straight romance:)
Branda, Happy reading Darkening Skies i'm waiting for your take on it. I've also read Dead Heat early this year. It is quite a good book. :)
I love this series, but haven't had a chance to get to the latest book yet. I remember reading
- the second book - before the first (whoops) while flying to New Zealand back in 2009! It seems like we've been waiting forever for the newest book!
Joanne wrote: "Branda, Happy reading Darkening Skies i'm waiting for your take on it. I've also read Dead Heat early this year. From memory, Dark Country also received a RITA nomination, and As Darkness Falls was nominated in the category for new authors.
So, Bronwyn Parry just keeps on receiving major international award nominations!

It was such a delight to meet up with Bronwyn Parry again last night. She enthralled us with her talk, plus we enjoyed a lovely dinner with Bron, Michelle Douglas (whom I met for the first time! What a lovely lady!) and a few other ladies. Lively discussion was had by all and the time flew by!

Just wondering, anyone else read this series, and what you think about the series?
I do understand that it is not Parry's intentin to tied it together as a series or such, but it is, however, a sort of losely link together series.
happy reading :)
