Donna DeCosta (foodallergymomdoc) | 2 comments Hello, has anyone used CreateSpace to publish a Kindle version of your book? What do you think of having them upload directly to KDP and enabling DRM? Thanks! Donna

Steven Malone | 49 comments I used CS for my paperback because I didn't know they existed before I published the Kindle version. So I missed that opportunity and had to get the nice people at Kindle to link the two. You might skip those steps having CS do it for you though I'm not sure about that.

Also, 'indie' success story Hugh Howey says new writers shouldn't worry overmuch about DRM. He says get your audience and some sales first. See #5:

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 372 comments Nope, I always do the Kindle version and CreateSpace version seperately.

If there's no option to disable DRM then that's a bit daft.
