What draws you to the Paranormal and the Phenonmenon of many interesting mysteries?

As a child I would see people standing next to my bed clearly not knowing what was happening i would cry out and my mother would come. They thought they were night terrors. Over the years I have had some experiences and now think that maybe I had abilities that I didn't understand and had no guidance to deal with them.
