Seamus unlocked the door to his dorm room. He opened the door wide and went inside, sitting his laptop down on one of the two desks and his suitcase on one bed.
Fiona followed her brother inside, carrying the last of his stuff. She still didn't understand how he only had two suitcases and his computer bag. She had at least twice as much stuff to go in her room. "I'm going to look around a bit while you get settled."
"Yeah. You're going to look for a cute guy you mean," Seamus said, teasing.
"You know me so well. It's like we're related or something," Fiona said, shooting him a grin as she went out into the hall.

"Hey," Fiona said from the open door.
"Welcome back. Where did you disappear to anyway?"
Fiona carefully pulled her hair to one side, draping over her shoulder to hide her neck where she'd been bitten. "I met Jasper, your neighbor across the hall."
"Uh oh. I know that voice. You've got a crush on him, don't you?"
"Maybe," Fiona said, blushing brightly. "Well, I should go get moved into my dorm room. Have fun." She turned around and left.

"I should really go help Fiona get her stuff unloaded. Maybe she'll have calmed down by now. Maybe," Seamus thought to himself.
He grabbed his room key and headed out, pulling out his phone to text Fi and find out where she was. He turned to close and lock the door before leaving the building.

Seamus wondered around campus for a couple of hours before heading back to his dorm room. He found an entrance to the hedge maze surrounding campus and almost went inside, deciding to wait for light, and maybe company, after reading the warning sign beside the entrance.
He found the library and most of the classroom buildings before going back to his room out of boredom. He didn't fall asleep until almost five the next morning. He really hoped his roommate didn't come in early in the morning. He might have to hurt the guy if he did.

It was early morning when Raze had found the boy's dormitory. Raze walked into the building and turned the onto the hallway of his room. He wrinkled his nose at the different orders he smelled-all wasn't very pleasant to smell. He was sure he smell something rotten and dead and the thought may he think that he would have to find a way to either to cover the smell or find the guy who own it. He begins to mutter again this time he was complaining.
He approached his room door. The first thing he noticed was the handle. He usually broke things with his unnatural strength and this yet the door did not break. It fitted comfortable in his hands. He pushes open the door loud not having been aware that his roommate was in the room sleeping or just not caring at all. It was the way Raze was afterall. He boldly steps into his room looking around. He ignores everything else as he is gazing at the dull room."I guess I will have to deal with this"

Seamus groaned at the sound of the door opening. He looked over towards the sound, saw it was a guy who looked about his age, muttered "roommate," and rolled over to face the wall. He'd been asleep less than three hours. As long as the new guy didn't make too much noise, he'd sleep a bit longer. As it was, he wasn't fit for company, for being around other people. Or even his sister for that matter.
Raze glanced over at Seamus. He snuffs toward the sleeping form of the boy. A human...figures. They would assign me to one. As long as he doesn't stand in my way. We would get along like two mouses. Raze looks back at his side than back to Seamus. I should at least make an attempt to fix my room. But first I suppose I need to find a store. He glanced over at his sleeping roommate again. He debates rather to wake him and ask if he knew of where a store could be found, but he dismisses the thought as he wouldn't want to be waking up for directions either. So Raze decides that he would go and walk around until he could find one.He walks out the room closing the door behind him.
Seamus was surprised to see it was dark when he woke up. He fumbled around on his nightstand for his phone, wondering if he really had slept all day. The display flashed 19:02 at him, so he knew he hadn't slept all day. Not quite. 14 hours though. No wonder his stomach was complaining. He should go find some food. He looked at his phone again, surprised to not have any messages - not even a text - from his sister. With her, no news was probably good news. And she could take care of herself.
He got up and dressed, then went out into the hall. Realizing he'd forgotten his key, he went back into the room and picked it up, putting it in his pocket. He glanced around to see if he'd forgotten anything else. He had, of course, in his hurry forgotten his wallet. "Gees. I'm losing it," he muttered as he picked up his wallet.
He had a vague memory of seeing another boy, who had to be his roommate, sometime earlier in the day. But the other side of the room was still just as plain as it had been when he arrived yesterday morning. He'd either imagined the whole thing - entirely possible - or the guy had gone off somewhere, maybe holed up with a girlfriend.
He left the room again, determined to actually make it somewhere that sold food this time.

Seamus returned to his dorm not ten minutes after he left. He'd followed Andrew to the girl's dorm, so the boy could get something from his girlfriend's room. While he waited out in the hall, he sent Fee a text to find out where she was. He got one word in reply: library. The reply came quickly, but as short as it was, he knew she was preoccupied by something. Or someone. He still had yet to meet the boy she claimed was her soul mate. He didn't like that.
"You can eat with your girl, you know. You don't have to eat with me," he told Andrew as they reached his room. He smiled and shrugged. "Just come and get me before you leave."

Andrew nodded. "alright, then Ill just be in my room for about fifteen minutes or so, I will come and get you after that" he smiled and walked a few doors down to his room, unlocking the door and walking in. "I'm back." he said to Liv, handing her the bag of Chinese food. "I hope you like what I got, like I said I am not used to this stuff."((I'm going to copy and paste the same thing to Andrew's room, I just found it easier to do it this way.))
((No problem.))
"Sure. See you then." Seamus waved the other boy off. He sat down at his desk and began to eat his food. He was worried about his sister; he hoped she wouldn't - and hadn't - made the same mistake Andrew's sister had. If she were to be intimate with that boy she was do caught up on, he just hoped she was in a serious, committed relationship with him first. He hoped she hadn't given herself to him last night, but he had a sneaking suspicion that she had.
He got his phone out and sent another text to her. This one just asked her to stop by later so they could talk. And to bring her boyfriend too.

Andrew knocked on Seamus' door, waiting patiently for it to open. He sighed, leaning against the door frame as he waited, making a mental checklist of everything he had to get while they where out. She shuffled his feet with a sigh. I should not have to be doing this, Sofia should have known better...though I guess I am guilty as well.
"Just a minute," Seamus called out as he finished the text he was sending to Fiona. He sighed as he sat the phone down and stood up. He went to open the door.
"Oh, hey, Andrew. I almost thought you'd forgotten," he said with a grin. He patted his pockets to make sure he had everything. "Just let me grab my phone and I'm ready. Do you have a car? Fee and I rented an SUV to get here and we still have it. It's not due back until Tuesday."

Andrew shook his head. "Sofia and I where chauffeured here." He gave a weary smile. "Are you sure you want to?' he asked, he was willing to take up his offer but he was not very good with new people driving him around. He shook his head, "never mind, lets just go with that" he said softly. He stepped out of the way to let Seamus lead. "Do you know how to get there?" He asked, "if not I have a gps on my phone, it's better then getting lost in an unfamiliar city." He gave a small smile.
"Yeah, I do actually. We rented the SUV in Boone after flying into the tiny airport there," he said with a shrug. "I know I saw a CVS pharmacy or something on the way out here. I'm sure I can find it again." He locked the door to his dorm room and headed downstairs and out to the parking lot.
((Should I make a topic for the car? Or just go straight to one in Boone?))
((Should I make a topic for the car? Or just go straight to one in Boone?))
After they returned from the short trip to Boone, Seamus walked back to his dorm room. Andrew had hurried on ahead, taking his purchase to his sister so he could hurry back to his girlfriend.
Seamus frowned as he unlocked the door to his room. Fiona was acting strange; she'd never behaved like this over a boy before. Sure she had crushes, even went on a few dates, but this went beyond that. He didn't know what was going on with her, but he didn't like it. He opened the door and walked in, setting the bag down on his desk. He went back to close the door and took out his cell phone.
He needed to talk to Fi. He knew she'd been at the library not that long ago. ((I may have lost his end of that bit of messaging as well. I'm pretty sure I did, actually. Oh well.)) He sent her another text: Please come by when you're done at the library. Bring him. He added the last bit as an after thought. He re-read it once to check for typos before sending it. Now he just had to wait.
He lay down on his bed, stretching out on top of his covers. His mind was going a mile a minute, so he wasn't likely to fall asleep as long as they weren't there too long.

Fiona smirked. "He most likely wouldn't notice unless they were pointed out to him. He's not always the most observant person." She smiled as he took her hand in his and walked the few feet across the hall.
She was still smiling when Seamus opened the door. He looked a bit less than happy.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Seamus frowned when he heard voices in the hall and a door opening. It sounded like the room across the hall, too. Was Fi so struck with that boy that she was going to ignore her own brother? Surely not. Surely there was a good reason for her actions.
He'd just decided to pay them a visit when he heard the voices again, followed by a knock on his door. Must have just dropped something off. Guess he must have gotten a lot of books. He went to the door and opened it, frowning at the pale skin and odd odor of the boy for a moment before he composed his face into a smile.
"Come in," he said, opening the door wide and waving them inside. Fiona immediately went to sit on the bed - no surprise there - but she still held his hand as if she expected him to sit beside her. From the way they looked at each other, he would. At least Fi's feelings weren't one-sided.
He wasn't nearly as oblivious as his sister thought he was. Or as he often acted.

Jasper looks Seamus in the eyesimmediately deciding that Seamus was a gentleman or at least had some gentleman tendencies in which case, he could be reasoned with. As Seamus stepped aside, he felt Fiona pulling him forward as they walked into the room.
The first thing Jasper was aware of was the scent. He smelled a werewolf in addition to Seamus scent. He followed Fiona to.Seamus bed. For a moment he thought about not sitting down beside her because he wasn't sure how the other guy would feel about that. He looked to Fiona knowing she read his question that was written on his face. He sighs a little when he sees hers. He takes a seat and pulled her hand into his lap covering her hand with both his. "It's a honor to meet you. My name is Jasper Winter. I want you to know that Fiona is very special to me" He turned to Fiona."I would never hurt her intentionally anyway. Even if my leaving would have been better for her" He looks back at Seamus.

Fiona turned just enough to put her free hand over Jasper's hands. She frowned and shook her head as he said the bit about leaving. Again. She was glad she'd talked him out of leaving, glad she'd been up early enough to follow him this morning.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Seamus's eyebrows raised as Jasper said that his leaving would have been better. He could see Fi shaking her head at those same words. "What do you mean your leaving would have been better?"
~*~*~*~*~*~
"He has an enemy. A man who is both a vampire and a demon. His name is Draven and he's scary. I've had the misfortune of meeting him. Last night."
~*~*~*~*~*~
"And you didn't tell me before now?! There's a demon out there who knows your name and you didn't tell me? What the hell, Fi? You're smarter than that."
~*~*~*~*~*~
"I didn't know he was a demon, Seamus. I just found that out a few minutes ago. This is the first opportunity I've had to tell you."

"Don't be mad with Fiona. She isn't responsible for not knowing about Draven." Jasper looks Seamus in the eyes. "I'm responsible for not assuming he would not follow me here. Your sister got involved without my intentions. But there's,nothing you can do especially now that he is an professor" Jasper turns to Fiona with an knowing look. "I won't let him hurt her. " Jasper had decided to learn how to think like Draven. He had even considered becoming Draven partner in order to gain the demon-vampire trust. "I have a plan to keep Fiona safe from Draven and hopefully to even kill Draven"
Fiona frowned again. He had a plan? One that would work and didn't involve him making a bargain with a demon? She could only hope. "I want to help him fight Draven. But it would be nice if you would help us as well. You know our magic is stronger when we work together."
~*~*~*~*~*~
"I don't know. I'd rather not get involved with a demon at all if I can help it. They're dangerous. I don't think the two of us would be a match for one. Many of them are immune to fire, I'd imagine, given their origin."

"I rather not have Fiona involved or to come anywhere close to Draven. " Jasper paused a second " Draven had this fetish with turning the living into one of us. I fear that he wants to do this to Fiona." Jasper stood up leaving his hand in Fiona. "I have no wish to turn Fiona or to allow Draven to change her" Jasper tightened his grip around Fiona hand.
Fiona looked at Jasper and smiled. "I don't particularly like that thought either. But that's why we need to fight and defeat him. And you need help, Jasper. I know you don't want me involved, you were going to leave here so I wouldn't be involved. I don't want you trying to fight him on your own either," she said, frowning at the thought.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Seamus had to nod at that. Not even a vampire stood a chance against a demon. He sighed deeply. "I'm not going to talk you out of this, am I, Fi?" She shook her head no. "That's what I thought. I'll help, too. Since I can't talk Fi out of helping you, I may as well help. A third person can only strengthen your - excuse me, our - chances."
"That's not exactly why I asked you two to come to my room, though. He walked over to the desk, picked up the plastic bag on it and tossed it to his sister.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Fiona caught the bag reflexively. She looked inside of it and blushed deep crimson. "Condoms? Seamus! How... why... what the hell were you thinking?!"

(Ooo nice touch 0.0)
"I guess the more help the better" Jasper nodded in agreement. He now was a bit interested in seeing their powers together in action. He knew Fiona was a master with fire and wind magic, at least in his opinion. What he did not know was what Seamus used. He was deep in thought when he saw the bag being thrown to Fiona. Instinctly, he wanted to reach out an grabbed the bag from hitting Fiona but he stopped himself noticing that there was no harm. Curiosity made him look down into the bag at the same time Fiona did. Seeing the condoms he grew a shade lighter and turned his head away. "Good idea" He muttered as thought about the dream they shared earlier. To change the topic before questions arisen, Jasper turned to Seamus "You have a werewolf living here?"

Before Seamus could respond, Fiona heard Jasper's whispered comment of 'good idea' and blushed even brighter. He had to be remembering their shared dream. And likely her clumsy attempt at seduction from the previous evening. Though now she understood why she'd done that; her subconscious had remembered her dreams even though she had no conscious memory of them until this morning. They belonged together; they always had and always would. They were soul mates.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Seamus shrugged, then opened his mouth to speak. Jasper's question interrupted his coming speech, bringing a welcome change of topic. "My roommate. He came in while I was asleep. I don't think he was here long," he said, shrugging again. "I vaguely remember waking and seeing someone else here, but that was hours ago. I've no idea where he went or if he even stayed at the College." Don't particularly care at the moment either.

"I hope your roomate isn't one that's vicious. I came into contact with one that was unpleasant. The work he did on a human wasn't the most nicest sight. I hope you can room safety with one" Jasper glanced over at Fiona and softness in his eyes. "I'm a bit curious. You two aren't twins are you?" Jasper could tell the two were close maybe even closer than he was with Fiona which was normal. He knew Draven had the power to control a person once he entered their mind, and as a precaution he was glad that Fiona had Seamus to go too if his mind was invaded, which wasn't likely as Jasper had builded a sound proof wall around his own mind after learning the trick to Draven attack.
((Have you forgotten about the mess in the maze?))
Seamus shrugged. "I can handle myself pretty well. Wolves, natural wolves at least, don't like fire." He then pulled the same trick Fiona had shown Jasper last night and summoned a small fireball to his hand. He waited a couple of seconds then dismissed it as quickly as he had summoned it.
~*~*~*~*~*~
"We are twins in fact. I thought I'd told you that already," Fiona said, sounding a little confused. She shook her head, deciding it didn't matter. "Why do you ask?" She thought it was pretty obvious, actually; they looked a lot alike and were the same age.

(Yea I wasn't sure if she told him about them being twin-my bad)
"You're powers together-you said you were stronger when you paired up. If your powers, your fire in particular, was so intense. There is a small chance that you will be able to defeat Draven. He had not used his demonic self in so long..expected that time in the forest, but maybe he is no longer stronger in his demon form...nevermind" Jasper took Fiona hand. "We will need to do more research and a few risky things but if I'm correct in my guessing: Draven can't harm us while we are on campus without one of the Professors interfering." He turned to Fiona "Shall we head to the food court to get you something to eat. I noticed you haven't ate yet" Jasper meets Fiona eyes.

Fiona nodded. "I'm certain the Dean would intervene at least, probably the Light Magic professor too." No sooner had the word food left Jasper's mouth than her stomach began to rumble. Loudly.
She blushed and nodded. "Food sounds good," she agreed.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Seamus nodded along with Jasper's talk of their powers. "We can only really do fire magic together. It does make a really intense fire. When we were very little and couldn't control it, well at all really, we sort of melted a stroller. We were sitting in it at the time. At least our parents liked to tell that story. Whether it's true or not, I've no idea. But I do know we can melt almost anything these days."
His lips twitched as he remembered Uncle Bradley's first night at their house. Or, rather, the next morning when his car wouldn't start. Because he'd done something cruel to them, they melted the engine of his car over night.
"See you two later," Seamus said as they started to leave.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Fiona stood as Seamus told his story. She suspected his lips twitching had to do with their horrid prank on their equally horrid uncle. The thought made her smile.
"Let's go before the food court closes."
She blushed and nodded. "Food sounds good," she agreed.

Jasper eyes gleam with a pleased glint to hear Fiona’s stomach growled. He nodded at Seamus’s explanation of their powers. He knew if should come in handle one day at least to aid them somehow. He noticed Fiona’s smile and Seamus’s twitch and assumed there was so story there that he may not want to know about. He walked with Fiona toward the door, but came to a stop when he caught the scent of a familiar velvety dead odor. “Seamus, I hope you know how to catch”
Jasper, suddenly wrapped an arm around Fiona’s waist and moved to the side just an person came spring through Seamus’s window and crashing right into Seamus, causing him to fly out of his room and into the hallway. Jasper held Fiona close to his chest as he saw Essence. Turning to Fiona “Are you alright? Sorry I didn’t have much time to be more gentle” He looked at the female vampire.
Essence frowned when she saw that the person she grabbed wasn’t Jasper. “You’re not my Jas. “ She had knocked Seamus to the floor and she had him pinned to the ground. “Who are you anyway?” She than catches Jasper scent again. Her eyes lights up once more and she turns her head around to see Jasper looking at her. She gets up quickly and walks over to him quickly forgetting Seamus.

Seamus looked surprised by Jasper's words for about half a second. Then he was flying across the room and into the hall. He barely registered that the door had been open before coming to a stop laying in the middle of the hall with a woman on top of him. A, uh, rather attractive woman at that. "Seamus," he said, startled by her question into answering truthfully. His body had just started to react to her nearness when he got off of him and went towards Jasper. And Fiona. That was not going to end well, of that he was sure.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Fiona gasped as Jasper grabbed her and stepped away from the door. Her eyes widened as she watched something - no, someone - tackle Seamus to the ground. Or the floor of the hallway rather. Who the hell is that? she wondered in the half a second before she spoke.
She bit her lip to keep from growling at the woman. Her Jas? Oh, hell no! God, she's beautiful though. Probably sophisticated and mature, too. How can I compete with that? Good thing he's MY soul mate. He can't be hers. Not ever.
She finally settled for glaring at the woman from her spot next to Jasper.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Seamus sat up with a soft groan. She'd landed hard on his chest. He would have bruises from that. Probably on his backside, too. He stood up and went back into his room, closing the door behind them.
No need for this business to draw an audience.

Jasper was a bit surprised to see Essence, yet he had a guess as to why she was here. Essence came to a stop in front of the two, and her eyes darted over to Fiona, naturally she glares her way. A smile on her face to mark a unsaid challenge. Unwrapping his arm from Fiona waist to take her hand, Jasper took a step forward to cut off Essence glare toward Fiona. "Essence, what are you doing here? Did Draven send you? If so, leave"
Essence rolled her eyes in an annoyed manner. Than she crossed her arms. "Draven didn't send me. " She shifted her gaze to Fiona than to Seamus.Jasper could tell that Essence was lying and he guessed the reason Draven sent her here: To interfere in his relationship with Fiona. Does he wants her that bad? She raised an eyebrow "Ahh, dinner huh? I would love to rip out her jugular vein-you can take the cutie behind me" She didn't glance back at Seamus nor did she fear the human. She could sense that he was dangerous thou-the look in Seamus eyes told her that. Her skin did crawl just a little as he stood behind her but she ignored that fact.
"Fiona is not dinner, nor is her brother." An small gleam of anger entered his eyes. "Fiona is my girlfriend or a better term my mate" His voice held an his of challenge as he dared Essence to do anything to attack Fiona. "If you will excuse me, I was going to take Fiona out to eat" He turns his head to Fiona and says softly "Let's go" He started to walk still holding Fiona's hand.
Essence glares a little, but an amused look entered her eyes. She turns to watch the two leave. "Jas, if she is truly your mate-congratulation. Sorry but I did not mean no harm. " Inwardly she wanted to break Fiona's neck.

((The first two instances of sent should be send. Just FYI. ^_^ I'll have to post later as I'm in the middle of something right now. Laters.))
((Of course not.))
Bitch, was Seamus's second impression of the woman. His first one had been her body against his, so it was much more favorable. He winked at Fiona over the woman's shoulder. Then made a small fireball appear in his hands, quite close to her hair actually. "I'm pretty sure I could roast you before you set a finger on either me or my sister," he said, voice low and dangerous.
He made a show (and more noise than necessary) of sniffing the air. "I do believe your hair's on fire."
~*~*~*~*~*~
Fiona had happily taken Jasper's hand when he reached for his. She barely contained a growl when the bitch - she had no other word for her - said that about ripping out her jugular. She fought hard not to smile when Seamus winked at her. When he said something about her hair, she had the bury her face in Jasper's shoulder to keep from laughing. Her hair wasn't on fire, but it could easily be. And she could feel the heat off of the fireball in Seamus's hand.
"Jasper is my soul mate, whatever you may think. I've had dreams about him for years. In my family, the women only have clear dreams about their soul mates," she said seriously to Essence.
She turned to Jasper. "Yes, let's go." She smiled at him.

Essence glanced back at Seamus, an daring look in her eyes. "I'm all for fireworks cutie, but " She quickly moved away from Seamus and toward his window. "My hair isn't up for the spark. " Essence shifted her eyes from Seamus and back to the couple.
Jasper glanced at Fiona when she buried her face in his shoulder. He looked over to see Seamus threatening Essence with a fireball. his lips turned up in a small smile. He did agree that Essence was asking for that piece, she always was. He watched her moved toward the window and lifting it.
Essence frowned at Fiona's comment about soulmates. She never believed in stuff like that nor did she think Jasper belonged to Fiona. She hissed at the couple as Jasper walked with Fiona out.

Seamus smirked as the woman moved away from him. He maintained the fireball, however, as he didn't trust her not to decide to try and kill him after all. Or eat him or whatever the hell she wanted to do. She was crazy, so far as he could tell. She could go from killing him to kissing him in an instant if she decided to; he wasn't going to give her the chance.

"Mind if we stop by my room?" Fiona asked as they left Seamus's room. "I'd like to check on my roommate. She seemed really shy when we met last night."
~*~*~*~*~*~
Seamus continued to watch Essence, fireball in hand. He wasn't going to move until she left. Then he'd close - and lock! - the windows instead of leaving them open for a breeze as he had been doing. If it got to hot, he could always turn on the A/C after all.
He wanted to check the windows for any enchantments on them anyway. If they didn't have it, he would cast "Strength of Stone" on them to make them virtually unbreakable.

"Good call human." She noticed that he kept the fireball in his hand. Her eyes watched the fire with a small fascination in them but fear laid there in her eyes as well." I think I'll suck you dry when you fall asleep tonight. Do remember me daring for I'll be back for your blood" She winked at Seamus before she flew out of the window. She needed some time to plan how she would get Jasper back. If that dinner is planning on keeping my Jass than she is very much wrong. I'll make sure of that!

"Yes, my room wouldn't be the best place to be right now" Jasper stayed close to Fiona as they walked out her brother's room. They soon make their way over to the Girl's Dorm. Jasper was a bit glad to be out in the fresh air.

Seamus snorted and shook his head. "You can try," he muttered as she left. He dismissed the fireball and went to close and lock the windows. He ran his hands millimeters from the glass to check the enchantments on them. They had a few already, small charms to hold the window together, fire resistance so they wouldn't melt, that sort of thing. Not one to prevent breakage, though. Odd.
He shrugged. He said a few words, moving his hands in prescribed motions, and cast 'Strength of Stone' on each window. They were just as transparent as they had been, but would be stronger now. He didn't have the power to make it permanent, not yet anyway, so he would have to renew the spell every week or two. Easy enough to do.
He went to lock the door of his room, silently cursing himself for not doing so earlier. He had been too distracted by the vampiress leaving. Too distracted by her beauty if he were honest with himself. She was scary, yes, but also beautiful. Damn her.
