Ladies and gentlemen, in the interest of getting this book club off the ground and getting right into some reading, our first will be Divergent, by Veronica Roth. The book is easily found for free online and should be available at libraries near you. Message me if you have any issues locating it. For now, we will be reading one book per month, which means we should be discussing this book on or around Sunday November 11th. I am really excited you guys! Happy reading! (No spoilers in this thread please!)

Felix | 3 comments Yay this is an amazing book. I have already read it so I wont spoil anything, but I do have a question. In the future will we be suggesting and voting?

Hey Felix,
This book was picked a bit hastily, I admit, but it did come directly from suggestions and votes within the group. Since it is the first book and we don't know yet how active everybody is as members, this book was chosen to move things along. Ideally all our books will be suggestions from members, and voted on as much as that is possible. I would like to have the next book picked by the time we are ready to discuss this one.

November 10th is a Sunday, so I thought that would be pretty good. Maybe late afternoon, early evening?

For those of you who have already read this book, please feel free to use this time to look it over again, or just reminding yourselves of your favorite parts or parts you didn't like so you can participate in the discussion too. Also, be on the lookout for good suggestions for our 2nd book.

Pete | 1 comments I've read both parts of that, it's alright. Gives me time to finish The queen is dead and Little Star, Plus i've been absorbing FullMetal Alchemist at an alarming rate.
