Gustav Holst - The Planets - Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity

The Planets is wonderful! "Jupiter" is tied with the absolutely enchanting "Neptune" as my favorite.

For some reason I haven't bothered to listen to any other pieces by Holst. I should.

The Planets is one of those pieces of music that when I listen to it, I can't help but think of a movie - In this case The Right Stuff

I played St. Paul's Suite at camp this past summer. I was the violin soloist. It was very enjoyable.
