Akari laid on a branch, snoring softly as he slept. He had been up all night hunting again, show had barely slept at all.
Jacqueline walked slowly and quietly through the forest, looking around her as she walked. The beauty of the forest never ceased to amaze her and she knelt down by the base of a tree, peering intently at a flower that was growing there.
Akari had been laying in the tree above when he turned, falling off the branch and hitting the ground. He jolted awake and gasped, rubbing his head and yawning. "Is it already morning?"
She let out a startled gasp and jumped back before peering intently at the boy who had just fallen out of the tree. "It is...are you alright?" Jacqueline asked curiously, a smile playing on her lips.
Akari yawned again and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." He scratched his head before he reached up and touched his horns, making sure they hadn't chipped or anything.
Jasmine led him away from the waterfall and deeper into the forest.
"I'm warning you though, the tree house isn't too big though..." she said, still holding his hand and walking by his side.
((I'm going to disappear now, bye *poof*))
Jasmine walked with him to the giant willow, with the little tree house nestled in it's branches.

((*gasp*))Joseph looked up at it and couldn't help but admire the beauty of the place. "Weeping Willows have always been my favorite trees," he murmured as he took the place in.
She smiled, "That's really nice, they're mine too which is why I picked this tree." she said and let go of his hand she took a rock and hit a branch, a ladder fell down and she looked at it with a grin on her face.
((*poof* I have appeared again. :)))
((It's like magic!))"Wicked," Joseph said with a grin, looking from the ladder and back to Jasmine. "You're pretty cool, didja know that?"
((It is!! *gasp*))
Se laughed, "Thanks." she said and started to climb up.
Se laughed, "Thanks." she said and started to climb up.
Jasmine climbed to the top and entered her tree house, she waited for Joseph to climb up and she pulled the ladder over the branch so that it was easily reached.
Jasmine climbed to the top and entered her tree house, she waited for Joseph to climb up and she pulled the ladder over the branch so that it was easily reached.
"How long did it take you to make this place?" Joseph asked curiously as he climbed up. He looked around, taking in the view. Despite the fact that it was dark his vision was still clear and his grey eyes were sparkling with wonder and curiosity.
She laughed with pride, "Well, I've been here for two years so that's how long it took me, I almost had nothing, just clothing and some basic survival tools and things, I wasn't the only one who was being hunted before I was relocated." she said. Jasmine walked lightly to where the extra cloth was and she made a second makeshift bed in a matter of minutes for him just so that he would be comfortable, it wasn't too nice to sit on the hard, cold, floor.
Jasmine lit the three torches that she had always saved for whenever they were needed, it was light and warm in the tree house, a smile crept onto her face.
"You're pretty creative," he noted, still amazed by everything that he saw. "I would never have been able to make a place like this if I needed a house." Joseph chuckled to himself and shook his head, taking in the view. He still couldn't get over how amazing it was.
She smile again, "Thanks again but if you get cold then here." she pointed to the torches and makeshift bed that was similar to a sleeping bag, she had her own sleeping bag next to it.
He turned around and smiled with delight at the sight of the makeshift bed. He walked over and sank gratefully into it, sighing as he did so. "I can't remember the last time I laid down in a bed," Joseph sighed, closing his eyes.
She giggled quietly, she lay down and curled up on her own makeshift bed facing him, the torches reflected flecks of light that looked like fireflies dancing in her eyes.
He opened his eyes at the sound of her giggling and was immediately captivated by her eyes. The way that the light reflected off of them was almost mesmerizing and he gazed at her curiously.
She noticed his intent gaze, she smiled at him, the fire making the small space seem warm and soft.
"Your eyes look nice," he murmured, unable to tear his gaze from them. He stretched his arms over his head and yawned, the heat making him almost sleepy - or as close to sleepy as a vampire could get anyway.
She blushed slightly, "Thank you." she said smiling. She saw him yawn, "If you're tired then sleep, its fine, nothing can get up here." she said and closed her eyes too.
She opened her eyes, slight confused but then she remembered, he was a vampire, she sighed, "Then just rest she said. A price of his hair fell into his eyes and before she could stop herself she moved it to the side.
((Sure))He raised an eyebrow when she moved his hair but he just smiled. "Go ahead and sleep, I'll rest," he said. Joseph laid there and watched the sky change as it went from night to day.
Jasmine hadn't realized that during the night she had curled up against him gently and when she awoke she had forgotten he was there, there was a moment of panic for her but it lasted a few seconds, she gathered herself back into saneness and yawned, covering her mouth with her hand.
Joseph smiled down at her once he realized that she was awake. "Well good morning," he said rather cheerfully. "Did you sleep well?"
She smiled, "Yup, and good morning to you too." she said and frowned when she saw that he hadn't slept, "I hate the fact that you can't sleep." she said.
"I don't know, I just hate the fact that you don't know what sleep is anymore." she said, looking at him intently.
"I don't know, I just hate the fact that you don't know what sleep is anymore." she said, looking at him intently.
"It looks pretty peaceful," he noted, smirking slightly. "I can still rest. It's just not...sleep." Joseph shrugged. "I don't remember it so I don't miss it anymore."
She sighed, "Alright." she said. She propped herself up on her elbows, "Breakfast, ok, um....lets see." she said and started looking around the house for food, she found berries and so on, light food that she ate for breakfast.
He watched her, slightly amused, and smirked. "I don't need that either," he said slowly, his smirk slowly turning into a broad grin.
She rolled her eyes, "I know." she said and sat down, starting to pop berries in her mouth.
Joseph couldn't help but laugh and he watched her eat, cocking his head to the side. "How do they taste?" he asked curiously.
She smiled when he laughed, "Sweet, but with a little bit of bitter aftertaste." she said, tilting her head to the side.
"Sweet, but with a bit of bitter aftertaste," Joseph repeated quietly to himself, as if by repeating the words he would understand the taste.
"Can you still taste?" she asked curiously, handing him a handful of berries.
