Adele strode in with her usual sexy confidence, as if she wasn't meeting the most dangerous person in the world. She was seated at a table in the middle of the room and a suited waiter took her coat. She smoothed her tight dress and sipped her tea from the red silk tablecloth.

"Morning James" she smiled like a lover, setting her tea down and taking a moments pause. "And how are you?"

She smiled, sipping calmly and easily from her tea, undisturbed. "Yes, love, of course I was," she smiled, leaning in. His threats affected her but she had a skill at burying it deep inside.

Adele have a smile back in reply, as if it had been a sweet compliment. She finished her tea and pushed it back. "I love you too" she breathed, swiping at her eye makeup in a habitual way.

She smiled and laughed airily, sighing. "I have a meeting at two for coffee. With an associate. Nice to see your sister is in town," she smiled, busying herself with the menu, glancing up at him after he took a long pause, in feigned worry. "You alright?"

"Good. Well". She pulled her compact from her Gucci purse and touched up her makeup. "I'll be in reach. I have a date Roth a dead man walking" she said smoothly, her lie seamless as she stood, smoothing her dress and beckoning for her coat.

Adele shot Jamie a venomous smile, slipping smoothly into her coat as she paid the valet and climbed into her car, revving the engine.

Adele sped off, breathing a sigh of relief and turning the music up loud to try and get the edge off before she met with Sherlock, as he would be sure to notice.
