Hello! I'm loving all the responses to the other topics. Would anyone like to share the first time they read Ayn Rand? Did a relative give you the book? Or did you read it in school?

I picked up ITOE from the library. I decided after that I was destined to one extreme or the other-- so before setting off on a long bus ride from Pittsburgh to Houston, I picked up a copy of Atlas Shrugged and a copy of Kant's Critique of Pure Reason. I read the introduction to the Critique, and then started Atlas and didn't pick up CPR again until I had finished AS. I did eventually read CPR, and the other Critiques as well. But it was too late for me.. Objective reality was my destiny. :)
