Completed 4/4 Completed: 12/18/2013
Count me in, too! I'm going to aim for Extra Large and hope I at least reach the Small presents box. :)1. Dracula - classic, horror: Any and all fans of vampire stories should read this book. :) finished 12/02/13
2. In the Midnight Hour - PNR...By Patti O'Shea, this is a great book to read for challenges needing an "O" author. :) finished 12/03/13
3. Demon Mistress - PNR/UF...This is the sixth book in series I have fallen in love with. As sixth, it's a great book to interest a reader in reading the earlier (and later!) books in the series. :) finished 12/05/13
4. Fallen - UF: This is a good introduction to self-published ebooks. It has a few errors, which are common to this format, but is a mostly enjoyable story that somehow manages to not be religious even though God, Israfel and Lucifer are major characters. finished 12/06/13
5. Bone Magic - PNR/UF...This is the seventh book in Yasmine Galenorn's Otherworld series and also one of her favorites out of the 16 she's written/writing. :) finished 12/09/13
6. XVI - YA-dystopian...This is a good-for-adults-YA book set on an interesting dystopian Earth. finished 12/10/13
7. A Kiss of Shadows - PNR...This is the first book in a rather erotic PNR series featuring the Fae that I absolutely love. finished 12/13/13
8. A Caress of Twilight - PNR...This is the second book in one of my favorite series that began with book seven. :) finished 12/15/13
9. Seduced by Moonlight - PNR...Book three. :) finished 12/19/13
10. Fool Moon - UF...This is the second book in the Harry Dresden series, a series I enjoy very much. finished 12/23/13

It's December again and Christmas is coming round again! I'm rather fond of the challenge I originally set in 2010 and which has become a regular in the group ever since - so let's not waste time - we know this is a great challenge, it's seasonal & lots of us have loved it for the last three years.
December challenge - Presents challenge
Duration - December
December brings with it the Christmas season, we all love to receive presents on Christmas day so your challenge this month is to put together a list of books you would package up and give someone as an introduction to PNR/UF reading gift.
How to prepare your present.
1. Pick the size of package you would give:
Mini - two books
Small - four books
Medium - six books
Large - eight books
Extra Large - ten (or more) books
2. Choose your books. Keep within the guidelines below, remember the present should be PNR/UF focused!
a) Pick at least one PNR and one UF
b) Include more than one author in your box.
c) Have several paranormal creatures in your box, don't just have vampires makes sure there are shifters, faeries, witches, demons etc in there somewhere too!
d) One books which is somehow connected to the holiday season.
e) Try to include a mix of new and older books OR well known and up-and-coming authors.
The books do not have to be at the start of a series (unless you want!), the idea is a mixed box which would get the reader hooked :)
Any queries give me a shout!!
The how to......
***Please update your original post (see the participants list for easy finding) as you go along, you can post a finished post at the end too!!!***
OR use the challenge widget!
Please post the level you want to attempt and come back to that post to update us all, you can do a finished post later too! The participants thread has a link to everyone's initial post.
We're keeping it simple here, use your judgement and given the nature of our group keep mostly in the PNR/UF genres, your interpretation of it that is :-) (max 1 out of 3 from others though please!)
