I just read that FX is making a series on this. I read the series, and I loved the first book. It kept me up for several nights and left me with endless images in the back of my head. (No, not pleasant ones.) But if they makes a TV series based on this, I am definitely watching it. They played a short teaser clip during the walking dead mid season finale. It had lots of rats coming up from the sewers, which follows along the lines of the book.

How the hell did I miss that teaser last night?? If it is on FX then hopefully, it should be pretty good. I know Anne, that series of books was pretty scary. Definitely no sparkly vamps in that one!

Grrr I can't stand watching a movie/show when it's done with a shaky camera. :(

I don't love it either, but it does give it a certain vibe. for me, it gets my adrenaline going, and adds tension. There's no telling whether the whole show will be filmed like that. I think not. But we'll see.

Del Toro, yes, from what I've read. I can only find bits and pieces on the internet.

Oh man, so not cuddly. I did read them all, but I wasn't crazy about the third. I'm curious to see what you have to say once you finish.

Either way I hope it's successful as I enjoyed reading those books. Now I am thinking about what actors will play those parts.....

It wasn't quite as scary, and I think they sort of drifted a little. I don't want to name any parts in particular because it's been a year since I read them.

I remember the reviews weren't as good, but I don't usually follow them. I always end up liking what other people hate anyhow.

I also saw that promo and was excited. Doesn't have to be true to the books, just hope it is a great scary, vampire series!

I can't wait until the summer to watch. I just read on wiki that it'll be three to five seasons.
