Appearance:

History/Personality: Alec has been good friends with Ray for years he's been apart of his club for a long time. He's strong and loves helping him out and his friends. They are all so amazing, he enjoys making things he's a geek for experimenting. But he doesn't show it as much as he sees his friends. He's so protective, kind, nice, not as rude, but so amazing to anyone he is friends with.
Ray rubbed his eyes and cursed to himself. It was late at night and he was sneaking around outside his own apartment building. Why? He heard a girl crying through his wall and he was just hoping he didn't come across the thing that made her cry, but honestly that could be anything. Ray's imagination was just getting the better of him as he thought about rapists and crazy psycho murderers. He rubbed his eyes again and wished he had his eye drops, or even his glasses. His contacts had dried out his eyes and it made it hard to look through the bushes in the dark.
Alexa was hiding behind the bushes crying softly not because she was just attacked but because the guy reminded her of her dad. He looked exactly like him but wasn't him. She cried badly just missing her parents she could care less of her ripped clothes and injured shoulder. She was too distracted to do anything about what happened to her. She just wanted to live her life again but it wouldn't work. Her head ached she was out of her prescription medicine for it, it was just her luck wasn't it? Not.
"Hey. What happened?" Ray was careful when he approached the girl not to ask if anything was wrong because something obviously was. He recognized her from the building next to his. He used to see her leaving for school in the morning back when he took 8am classes. He sat down on the ground across from her, two or three feet away.
Alexa wiped her tears seeing Ray. "It's nothing I'm fine." She said to him flinching when he head was aching badly. She recognized him. She had night classes and walked out at eight so she passed him all the time. She didn't expect to see him at all. She doesn't know his name but just knows she has seen him during classes at school. She covered her ripped clothes trying to be convincing.
"Alrighty then fine, why the waterworks? I could hear you from inside my apartment." He nodded to a window that was maybe twenty feet away. It was closed, but she definitely was crying louder than she thought. Ray was actually surprised that he was the first one out there to see what was up.((I got to go to bed. I have school tomorrow and I need my beauty sleep. ;D))
((Alright goodnight:)))Alexa sighed looking down. "I was attacked earlier. I hid here since my phone died and those people took my bag and keys. I wasn't crying of the pain I was crying because of.." She didn't finish not wanting anyone to know. She was known as the cry baby because of her parents death and a freak since she barely remembers some things not everything.
Ray was silent for several seconds. "Here," he held out his cell phone, "Report your stuff missing." He felt bad just thinking of leaving once she finished calling the police. "Do you want to come inside? I hear tea is good for bad days and chicken soup is good for the soul." Ray chuckled at his own joke.
She took it dialing the police she reported what happened. She hanged up. "Thank you." She got up covering herself. "It's okay you don't have to do that." She said to him covering herself up. She didn't have her keys for her apartment she just remembered.
"I insist. It's not right to leave a girl out in the cold at this time of night." Ray pushed the matter, he had a feeling that she was hiding the worst of the situation. "I swear my tea isn't Lipton. I know that stuff sucks."
Alexa sighed. "Your right and as long as its not Lipton it's fine." She said to him. She hated Lipton it makes her so sick. She covered her body from her ripped clothes getting up she was so tired and worried.
Ray noticed her ripped clothes and handed her his jacket without making a comment. He led her inside and motioned for her to sit wherever she wanted and he headed to his kitchen. "Green or Black tea?"
He nodded and made the tea in silence. He made two cups and added milk and sugar to his and brought over sugar for her. "Here you go!" He smiled and took the seat next to her, handing her the tea and sugar. "So what's up?" Ray didn't know much about her, but he knew to let her share what she wanted to. "I'm Ray by the way." He realized he didn't even know her name, but here they were, drinking tea in his apartment.
She took the tea, "Thank you. I'm Alexa. Thank you for helping me Ray." She said to him softly really happy to be treated with some kindness by someone. She just had a bad life so far. But she's surviving it so far which was good. She took a sip of the warm tea her body relaxing from its warmth.
"It's no big deal." He shrugged. "So you're in high school right? Do you know if you're going to college?" He figured school was a safe thing to talk about. Most students all had the same feelings about it.
She nodded. "Yeah I am, I'm not dire about college. I do want to go but I'm just not sure." She admitted she wasn't sure at all if she was ready for college yet at all. She lived high school it was better then junior high and elementary.
"Well the good thing about college is that you can take more classes about what interest you." Ray smiled. "The bad thing is that you have to make important decisions about college and the rest of your life only a month after you still had to ask to use the bathroom."
Alexa smiled. "True but it seems better then high school. Even if high school is better then junior high." She admitted she was going to enjoy college. "Decisions are hard but we always have to make them and we have to deal with the consequences.
"Adults are funny like that." Ray chuckled. Alexa gave him a confused look because he technically was an adult. "The older you get the more you realize how much adults don't know anything and you just keep looking for someone more adult than you.
"That does make since. I'm always looking for an adult to help me. But they aren't as good as they are when your a kid." It seemed true adults sound smarter when your younger then they get out smarts by kids,
"Exactly, although being a kid again sounds a lot less stressful and time wasting." Ray shrugged and finished the rest of his tea. He didn't want to have to worry about his sister and it would be nice to think that the know-it-all adults would fix her.
She finished her tea, "Being a kid is really nice." She said to him. "I wish I could go back In time." She mumbled after finishing her flutes. She missed her childhood everything was so nice and amazing back then. Now her life is just he'll for her. It was bugging her.
"Don't we all?" He took her cup with him to the kitchen and he started to wash them. "Do you have any way to get into your apartment?" Ray asked her. He didn't think she'd be comfortable sleeping on his couch.
She thought and nodded no. "Mo they have my keys." She sighed. "I think I could stay with my friend she's just down the hall." She said to him. She doesn't care of where to stay.
"Alright, as long as you have a place to stay." He nodded, reassuring himself that she'd be fine. He put the mugs away once he'd finished cleaning them and smiled. "Well I hope you get your stuff back."
"I do too.. Thanks for the help." She aid to him getting up going to leave. She realized she was still in his jacket, she took it off so he can have it back, she started to leave again covering herself fully.
"Keep the jacket until you get a change of clothes, you need it more than me." Ray gave it back to her and held open the door for her. "Besides, you know where to find me."
"Thank you." She took it and put it over her. "I'll give it back as soon as I get a change of clothes." She said to him promising him. She goes to her friends room happy she was there to help her. She stayed over night borrowing clothes luckily they found the guys and had to make sure that she wasn't going to get hurt. She got a new set of keys and her phone was ready to use.
Ray fell asleep almost as soon as Alexa left. The next morning he got up and quickly headed to school, he had a club meeting that morning and as President he had to be there. Ray wasted no time and was there in less than fifteen minutes. "Morning Keely, What's up Alec?" He said as he entered the chemistry lab."Not much more than the usual." Keely answered, she was already working on her potion, but she wouldn't tell Ray or Alec what kind of concoction she was trying to create. "Getting zero results."
"I know the feeling." Ray answered and went to the chemicals safe. He reached into his pocket for the key card to open in and then swore. His wallet was in his jacket, along with his student ID, driver's license, credit card, and everything else he owned was with Alexa. "Well shit."
((My plan here was to give Alexa a reason to come to the college.))
((Okay, I know she will in a minute))Alexa woke up early sighing she had a meeting to go at the college that Ray was in. She goes over to the college she goes inside her friend leading her over to the dean's office. She got interviewed what Ray said did remind her of her meeting. She was really in need to talk to him and had to rearrange her classes.
Alec looked up. "Nothing much, what have you been up too?" He asked him getting up washing his hands and taking his glasses off which he didn't need on anymore at all. He glanced at Keely of course she wasn't talking about the potion he's working on. He didn't mind she never says until she's done.
"Other than helping a girl who was attacked and accidentally leaving my wallet with her, I haven't done much at all." Ray shrugged and sat in a chair, watching Keely who hadn't put her potion in the chemicals locker overnight. Ray was the only one in the club to have a key card for it because you had to get special permission."Sounds like Ray has a cru-ush!" Keely sang while looking at a sample of her potion under a microscope. Ray's face turned beet red.
"Shut up, she's just a high schooler."
"A cute high schooler?" Keely let Ray's silence do the talking. "I thought so."
Alexa walked with her friend that helped her Katie she smiled at her when she realized she had Ray's wallet. They were right in front of the lab when she realized it. "Is that the guy that helped you last night?" Katie asked her. "Yes it is, He left his wallet with me. Great I have to go and find him." She said to her. She was really stupid for letting that slip passed her. She had to find Ray. "Who is it?" Katie asked her. "Ray." She said to her. "Don't know him. I got to go I need to get to class." She hugged Alexa before leaving.Alec listened and smirked a bit. "What's the girls name?" He asked Ray he watched Keely trying to really see what she was doing. He wouldn't tease Ray unless he knows the girl then he would tease them both like his normal self.
"Alexa, she lives in the building next to mine." Ray sighed and rest his face in his hands. "Ugh, and I lent her my jacket too! Why didn't I check the pockets first?"Keely just smirked and put her potion on a hot plate and began to write down what she had just added to it.
Alec was drinking water when Ray said Alexa he had a spit take not expecting it. "Alexa? You mean Alexa Thomas?" He asked him. He wasn't sure if Ray even knew about Alexa's past. It makes sense if he doesn't know a thing. Alexa sighed and went to find her classes she would return Ray's jacket and wallet later when she was through with them. She'd stick to morning classes they seemed so much easier then Night classes.
"I don't know her last name." Ray answered sheepishly."Yeah, why should it matter if she'll have your last name one day." Keely teased Ray mercilessly. It was part of being a close friend of her's. You never escaped the ridicule.
"Not to be rude but do you know anything about her?" He asked him. Alec was her neighbor when she was a kid and he knows she's having a hard life. He wiped his mouth relieved no teasing came at him from Keely. He listened as Ray spoke. Alexa when to her theater class she didn't just have classes in the arts. She had to do some science that wasn't her favorite subject.
"Umm... Not much." Ray answered. "I do know that she was mugged yesterday and that she likes green tea over black tea." He shrugged with no other answers. Keely rolled her eyes."You decided you had a crush on the girl and that's all you know about her? You're a hopeless romantic. Unlike Mr. Stud over there. Do you even remember the name of your last girlfriend?"
"Were back to Mr. Stud really?" He asked Keely annoyed at that name. "Ray remember the story in the papers about the girl that lost her parents in a car wreck and she ended up in a coma?" He asked him hearing Keely. Alexa got through class with a swift start but she had to take her pills to help her head luckily the school knew. She went to the bathroom taking them and drinking most of her water for it.
