Sad news today, Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa had died on December 5, 2013.

May we pray for his family and friends during this tragic time.

We in South Africa are very saddened by his death. Personally I think Mandela has done his great work by achieving political freedom for us. Now our generation (youth) need to take up the baton from him and bring about the freedom that can liberate us from the chains of economic oppression. This is the mantle that my generation need to take up
May his soul rest in peace and may his family be comforted in this time of grief

Madiba lived a long and very strong life. I definitely see him as a role model and source of inspiration.

I definitely agree with this! I think that Mandela did so much good in the world and he will never be forgotten.

You're welcome Connor! I definitely agree that the next generation need to take up the reigns left by Mandela and make the world a better place like he did.
