Alright! Which one(s) did you want to do along with character?

I just kind of wanted to be the girl at the all boys school. We can do doubles if you want.

(Happy family life. That's all it really was. Rose was the perfect baby, almost. She still smelled like other babes.)

[adolescence]
(Rose's Mother packed her bags and left one day for no reason at all it seemed. Her father began to spiral downward becoming a drunk. One day Rose had enough and she shouted at him. In response he hit her. She moved out before the week was over and into a friend's apartment who was in college at the time.)

[young adulthood]
(Rose still drives by her father's house to see how he's doing. Sometimes he's better and they'll go to a waffle house or something. Sometimes he's in a relapse and she won't go near him.)

History:

Early Life:
He had a fairly easy childhood, always getting what he wanted, materially. Other than that, his parents were usually away with jobs and things, he was raised by many different nanny's. He often threw a fit for most of them, just wanting his parents to lose hope and raise him themselves. It never worked.

Adolescence:
He was still trying to get out of the nanny thing until he was old enough to take care of himself, and by that time, he was sent off to a private school where he started to live. He didn't much like the idea, trying to get kicked out from the beginning until his father sat down and started lecturing him. Matt being hurt, decided to knock it off, knowing that nothing he did would make his parents come home.

Young Adulthood:
Matt is a bright kid, always doing his work on time and doing it well. He knew that he would have his parent's money to help him out, but if that's all he got from them, he didn't want it. He wanted to be on his own. And that's what he's striving to do.

Family:
He is an only child with only his parents that don't really pay attention to him, no matter what.

So where do we start?

We can start with the first day of the girl going? Maybe it's before school starts?

((Okay!))

Rose muttered her schedule over and over to herself so she wouldn't forget it. She glanced at the map of her new school a thousand times as she walked towards her first day there. Why did she have to go to an all boy's school? Why didn't she opt out when she had the chance? Most likely because it was a chance to get away from Rachel. She was always bullying Rose and a bunch of other girls. Before Rose knew it she was on school grounds. She felt queasy. She wished she wasn't so nervous.

Matt stepped out from the back seat of his car, Mark, his driver, nodding a good day to him. Matt waved a bit, "See you after school."

"That you will." Mark responded, driving away after Matt had gathered all of his things.

He turned, starting to walk toward the school, his backpack heavy on his shoulders. He moved his tie around, it feeling a bit tight for some reason. He looked around the courtyard, something was out of place. He noticed a small figure at the front of the gate. He didn't think much of it, probably just a new student. As he turned his eyes away, he noticed that that wasn't a masculan figure. He flipped around again, his eyes wide, it was.... a girl....

The most disturbing thing about being on the campus of an all boys school was that just about every single person stared at her as if they had never seen a girl before. Rose's mind went blank and she swore to herself, realizing that she had already forgotten how to find the counseling office. They told her that she needed to get there before school started. In the end she approached the least intimidating guy in her near vicinity.

"Um... Hey... Can you help me get to the counseling office? I'm a bit lost." She let out a nervous titter. Was she being so obvious about the fact that she had just come from an all girl's school? Rose felt like she'd get torn apart here. For the most part the only boy she really had an actual conversation with since grade school was her neighbor. And that didn't really count because he acted more like a girl than she did.

Matt turned to the girl, blinking a few times before answering with a light laugh, "I think you're more lost than you put off." He said, "I think you may have the wrong school." He felt kind of bad for saying this, she probably felt really embarrassed. He pursed his lips a bit, not sure what to say else, just, "This is kinda an all guy school...." He pursed his lips, seeing the other guys look at her.

"FINALLY!" One cheered.

"Matt! Matt! Matt!" Another called.

Matt held up his hand, closing it telling them to shut up, which they did.

"No. I'm pretty sure I'm in the right place." Rose answered, her face was bright red. She fumbled with her jacket pocket before pulling out a letter. It looked like a letter of acceptance they sent out to all the boys at the school when the school agrees they could attend, but her's was addressed a little differently.

Dear Rose Elaine Thompson,
You've been accepted as a participant in Hardwell's private college as a subject of a psychological test. You will be attending Greenberg's academy for young boys in order to study the effects of gender influence. On your first day of school, find your way to the counseling office before the first bell rings and your role will further be explained to you.

"I may be hopeless at finding my way, but I can read." Rose said, observing the name of the building in front of her.

He looked at the paper, eyebrows furrowed, "I wasn't aware we were participating in this." He purses his lips, "Alright. Follow me then." He said. He offered his arm, showing that he wasn't as rude as he origionally came of to be, "My appologies." He didn't get why he was acting so formal, this wasn't normal. He shook his head a bit. He'd be himself later on. He was just tense, yeah, that's it. He was tense. A smile formed over his lips when he tried to figure it out.

They both arrived at the counseling office, "Careful, the teachers here are like bats." He laughed, Doctor Who reference.... He took a step back, "Well, I must get to my locker and then to class. See you around.... N-New girl." He said, even though he couldn't believe it. New girl....

"Yeah. Bye." She gave him a slight wave. In the office, she was asked a million questions about what had already happened and assigned a locker.

"Once the rumors about you have been flying around a bit, we'll hold an assembly about your arrival at the end of the week." One of the college students said with a wink.

"I can't wait." Rose muttered dryly and stalked off to find her locker.

Matt waved to her as well, smiling a bit. He continued to his locker, shaking his head of what was going on. He twisted in the combinations, letting the lock click open. It creaked a bit with the first few inches of opening up. He placed his bag on the hook, pulling out what other books he needed and the papers. He was supposed to do a presentation today, not an important one, but one that would prepare him for his Senior Project.

Rose had a locker next to a kid who defonitely was a drug dealer, but he was cool because he was the only person who didn't gawk at her and he liked to sing showtunes to himself when he was nervous. His name was Alex. She waved good bye to him and began to look for her English 101 class.

((Matt got some competition.))

Matt arrived at class, his best friend TJ already in the room. Matt shook his head, "The race isn't over." He said, pointing to him.

TJ jumped over the desk, walking next to Matt, "Forget the race! Did you hear about the chick?!"

"The chick?" He put his things down, "wait! You finally got a girl to look at you?! Woah." He said.

TJ glared at him, "No, the girl that started going here."

Matt shook his head, "This has to be some sort of joke." He jumped up and sat on the desk, "I mean, we're an all guy school. They can't just let girls in here randomly!"

"Well, they did. Heard she's in this class next." He winked, "Maybe we'll finally get a girlfriend."

"We can't both have the same girlfriend TJ, no matter how much you want that."

TJ slapped him on the shoulder, "Forget falling down the stairs, I'm going to push you."

Matt smirked, it was their way to say Good Luck because they didn't like being normal people and saying, break a leg.

(With how you're putting it, it's basically the whole school. ^^)

After a few wrong turns and asking people for help, Rose finally found her classroom. She was still early, thank God, because she normally was late to every class because she had a worthless sense of direction.

((Very very true! Haha! Well, but it only matters if she likes them back. *nods* Cuz I'm guessing she's a person that'd tell them off in a second if she didn't like them?))

When she arrived into the class room, the other guys that were in the back suddenly fell silent, making TJ and Matt turn.

TJ's eyes grew wide while Matt stayed totally calm and collected. "Woah.... it's not a rumor...." He whispered.

"I could have told you that." Matt said, "I showed her to the office."

TJ looked over to him, "You talked to her already!? What's her name?! Details!"

Matt turned to him in a bit of shock, "You're starting to sound like a chick!"

((Yeah basically.))

Rose fidgeted under everyone's gaze. First days were not her thing. If it were any other number of days, she would be breaking necks and taking names. She held up her book in front of her face and walked to an open desk. It made her feel like she was in a pack of wolves when every seat around her was filled almost immediately and the sound of desks and chairs sliding across the floor to get even just a few more hairs closer to the only girl in school.

((YES!))

Matt pulled TJ down to a chair, which was right in front of them, "Don't be creepy if you want a shot." He growled.

"Don't you want one?" TJ asks, "What other chance would you get?!"

Matt shook his head, "Shut up." He sits down with him, he'd like a chance, but only if she had a cool personality, someone who liked jokes too. He didn't look back at her, not being like the other guys that were all goo goo eyes over her.

The teacher came in soon after that, tapping her desk with the ruler, "Attention class! Attention!" She looked around, "Now, gentleman, remember your manners." She said. "I am Miss. Radford." She introduced to Rose. "I will be your behaviorial studies, a mixture of psychology and english."

Rose nodded, not trusting herself to speak without snapping at the boy next to her who obviously was trying to envision her figure beneath her jacket. Instead she resorted to flicking him in the ear when the teacher wasn't looking. He practically put his head into the ceiling he jumped so high.

"OWWW!" She smiled with satisfaction knowing that it would leave a bruise.

Matt and TJ looked back, their eyes wide. "Woah, sunshine." Matt said, looking over at Max, one of the flirty guys, he even flirted with guys, out of jokingness. At least, that's what everyone thought. They really didn't care anymore.

TJ laughed loudly, "Higher!"

"Farther." Rose stated, matching what TJ had said with a glare aimed at Max. She had hoped he would find another seat, but he sat back down where he was before. At least this time he looked to the front of the room instead of at Rose.

Matt laughs, "You're out of practice." He winked at Max, "Well, with girls that is."

TJ laughed also, "Better stick to the guys!"

Matt shook his head, turning back to the front of the room.

Rose rested her cheek on her balled up hand and looked at Matt's back. It was the guy from before who had helped her. She wondered what his name was. He'd never said before. If he paid attention he would know her name, it was on the letter she was given. In fact he was the only person in the room besides the teacher that would know.

He tapped his fingers lightly as the first person started to go up for the presentation. "Two hours worth of presentations." He whispered.

TJ sighed, "Welcome to hell."

They both had their head faced back a bit, whispering it to Rose. "Until you get to ours, then we'll interest you." Matt chuckled.

"What are they about?" She asked, curious. What kind of teacher made their English class partly about Psychology? Rose didn't have a problem with it, because she was interested in social sciences with a passion, but was intrigued. Mostly because the first picture in the presentation was of the Titanic from the movie.

((That's what my english class is. It's taught by two teachers.))

Matt shrugs, "Right now it's about some mental disorders that are often found in this school. Most people were doing other things though, doing research on other disorders." He shrugged, "That kind of stuff." He said.

((My English class is a lot of writing and fucked up American standards so.... I was just mostly confused.))

"Well if this one isn't about the effects of poor music choices then I'll be disappointed." Rose whispered back. She was disappointed. The presentation was about suicidal tendencies. "What's your name?"

((Yeah. I also go to a special school based on Tech so.... Yup! XD I had to make this school different from normal standards.))

"Matt." He whispered back. It was very true that there were many suicides in the school, most of the guys feeling very lonely with only guys around. They don't know how to ask for help, so they just end it.... Then there's people like Matt who are ignored also by their parents.... "And that'll come up later in the year. Don't worry."

((Lucky! My poor ass public education sucks.))

"Good, maybe I can teach your friend here some real music taste." She nodded at his backpack that had the lyrics to Blurred Lines written neatly in sharpie on it. Rose had to fight the urge to burn the thing.

((I'm in public school too. It's just a new way of learning. *Nods* It's project based.))

Matt and TJ laughed, "We have wonderful taste." They whispered at the same time.

"I'm into Three Days Grace, My Chem." TJ started.

"One Direction." Matt cut in.

"A few songs." He kicked him in the shin, "Not the whole band...." He snarled.

Matt nodded, "It is true that some of their songs are good. But go on."

"Skillet, Good Charlotte, and Evanescence."

"That goes for both of us."

"No Fall Out Boy or Panic? Shame, cause their newer songs are pretty God damn good." Rose pointed out. "But those one direction boys. Hot damn. I would tear their clothes off with my teeth if given the chance. If you know what I mean." She winked at the two of them. Boys were so much more sarcastic. She loved it. Why didn't she go to a co ed school before?

((Hey! Leave Niall for me....))

Matt snapped, "And this is why I don't let you say bands. You always forget them! And along with Mayday Parade." He nodded, "Sorry for him not adding them. Miss. Jackson is the one we blast in the car half the time."

TJ nodded, "And Harry'd let you do it."

((Niall can stay just the way he is. It's Louis I'm looking at.))

"Harry's just a whore with a mop top. He kind of reminds me of someone..." She shot a glare at Max. "Anyways, whose up next?" She nodded towards the front of the room where the next presentation was about to start.

((Sweet! Haha, he's mine! XD))

Matt looked up, "I'm in two turns. TJ is after me." He said. He watched another guy walk up, introducing his about depression, something that happens a lot.

TJ looked over at Max, "That wasn't nice." He said.

"Bad." He tapped on his head.

"What's your's on?" Rose asked, genuinely interested. She was glad that the conversation was drowning out the boring presentations and she was interested to know what kinds of things happened to high school students other than depression and suicide. Mostly because both of them made her upset.

Matt looked over, then back to her, "How we have a brotherly relationship." He said. "I picked something positive. Everyone else picked something negative."

"Awwww! How sweet. Do you guys tuck each other in bed at night?" Rose teased him, but was really relieved at the idea of having something positive. "And you?" Rose asked TJ.

"That's what I do for TJ when he's all sicky wickey...." He teased.

TJ stuck his tongue out, "That was one time when I was delusional!" He turned to her, "Stupid arguments."

"Well after this conversation you should have plenty of material to reference to." Rose forced herself to not laugh out loud, she didn't think interrupting presentations on her first day would earn her bonus points with her teacher.

Matt nodded, "Oh yeah. That would." He said. "But I mean like we always have each other's backs and things." He nodded.

TJ agreed, "Yeah. Like say if someone forgot something important, one of us'd stand up and fix it."
