Hey all!

I did a recent blog post on helpful reviews. It's a little ranty but I think it brings up a valid point. Check it out: When to Mark a Review HELPFUL

You're spot-on, Jaimey. Helpful =/= "I liked/agreed with it." It means, "It helped me make a decision about this book." On Amazon, my highest rated "most helpful" review is a negative one -- I even had notes from people telling me it helped them decide not to purchase the book in question!!

(Frightening truth: I'm now on a "virtual panel" with the author of that book. I hope she doesn't recognize my name, LOL.)
