Let's share our new year's resolutions and reading goals for 2014!

Sarah Oxford (sarahloxford) | 1260 comments Ok, me first...

New years resolutions -
1. Do sit ups every day!
2. Enjoy my job or change it!
3. Teach my son to swim and ride his bike without stabilisers
4. Learn to cook one new recipe every month

Reading goals -
1. 100 books in 2014 (less than 2013 as I'm going for quality over quantity this year, plus I failed to make 150!)
2. Finish all the series I've already started!
3. Review every book I read
4. Participate in one 'read to review' every month

Sarah I haven't really given this much thought, but here goes:
My reading goal for 2014 is 200 books. Considering I've read 100 since August I should make it (fingers crossed)

My New Years Resolutions are to
1. kick the soda habit
2. train for and better my half marathon time

Natalie | 4 comments So I guess my main resolution for this year is to finish the re-write of my first novel and edit it so it's ready for the next step

Reading goal, probably around 50 as I don't find it that easy to read and write, but hopefully will get through more

Megan (thebookiemonster83) Since it worked out so well for me this past year, I'm going to aim to read a book a day again in 2014. So, 365 books this year it is!

I don't usually like making New Years resolutions, but since I am also 30 this year and want this decade to be much better than my twenties, I think I will start by trying to spend more time with friends and family.

Vanessa (nessa1017) | 4 comments Golas for 2014……hmmmm

1. Lose 30 pounds (includes working out and eating healthy)
2. Save more money
3. Read and review 150 books ( I read more, but I’m poor when it comes to leaving reviews)

Let's see...

1. Find a summer job (since I will have all summer off from my regular job)

2. Save more money (especially if I can't do #1!)

3. Read 40 books (I'm a lot more busy than I was last year, so I'll start with 40 and probably increase it again, depending on how well it's going)

4. Go back to school (online) to get my teaching license for High School Mathematics (I'm already doing the job, just don't have the degree for it)

5. Organize my entire house (since we are using the entire basement and two bedrooms for storage right now! Lol!)

6. Cook and bake more
