Now as I have been through all of your posts it has spurred me on. I will also be placing a few limitations on myself. I have probably close to 200 to be read books on my shelf. I always buy more books. I think this year I will only allow myself to buy a new book if I have finished 5 out of my to be read pile. see if I cant get it a little more under control. I would very much like to read 104 books this year. More if I thought it was possible. We will see how much time I have free t the end of the day once I have 2 little ones running around.
Seeing as my list and most of the things I write are terribly boring I doubt many will see my list... but I swear I am not cheating when I write this. I had a really terrible time with books the last few months and have left some many half done. So I finished a few of them today. I hope that's ok. 1. Love By The Book by Dara England
2. It Takes a Witch by Heather Blake
And I have about 80 pages left of another and plan to read until bed now. So I may have a third book done.
Thanks Jennifer. I have been a reading fiend lately. Its nice to step away from the tv and the computer and get caught up on other things. Like reading and my other hobbies.
4. Mind Over Murder by Allison KingsleySo far I'm doing well this year. We will see how long this lasts for. I have so many on the go as I read a book on my kobo while I feed my baby, then I have a book upstairs by my bed and a book downstairs on the coffee table. Plus I have a few almanacs that I am always reading. They take forever to finish cause I usually only read one article a week or so.
I know about those 'to be read' piles... not as many as you (probably closer to 50), but then Christmas and the Barnes and Noble gift cards and clearance sales.....sigh. There are 11 I can see in the stack from where I'm sitting and I can't see the bookshelves. You seem to have enough books stashed around the house that you should do pretty well. :)

I love that. I have book ADD like that sometimes. I like having 3 or so going at the same time. I have to really force myself to actually concentrate on one and get it finished sometimes. I try to get my books in book form, CD, and on my phone. That way I can pick it up wherever. I do love to pick up the one I am in the mood for at that moment and then go back to another later.

Most of my to be read pile is sitting on my to read list here. There are a couple more but I just cant get all of them on here. So hopefully I can get through them this year and abstain from visiting the book store too often. Are you planning on getting caught up on your to be read pile?

I absolutely have book ADD. I have books on my phone and kobo, on my computer I even have books on CD. my close friend thinks its nuts that I have so many books on the go. She cant stand the thought of picking up a book before she is done reading the one she's on.
