Ashley Day | 6 comments My goal for this year is to read at least 175 books. I made this same goal last year, but I hadn't discovered Goodreads yet and had no way to track myself or get encouragement. So, this year, I will hopefully complete that goal!

Books I want to read:
Finish my TBR list
Reread the Inheritance Cycle and the Harry Potter series
Read some more classics

Ashley Day | 6 comments Alright, so I finished a few books over this weekend. I was sick, so I spent a lot of time in bed just reading. Both good and bad I guess. :)

1. The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck

2. The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway
The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway

Jen | 42 comments Looks like you got a good start on your classics!

Ashley Day | 6 comments Haha yep. One of my resolutions this year was to read some more classics. The next book on my list is YA though, so this trend will end rather quickly!

Lindsay (crowshollow) Oh My goodness. You are so my hero. I have only ever read the classics that I was "forced" to in high school and college. I wonder if I hated them because they were books that were chosen for me to read. I do enjoy the occasional jaunt into a Jane Austen novel. but I never finish them. Way to go you!!!

Ashley Day | 6 comments Haha thanks. Yeah, I find that I really hate school assigned books as well... It must be a universal thing. Well, no, I did love one school assigned book: Fahrenheit 451. It's still one of my all time favorites!
