10. The 7 Most Powerful Prayers that will change your life foreverAdam Hogue
4 stars. Prayer is important and this was an interesting way to classify them, I thought
Thanks. I doubt I will continue at the speed I did. I was on vacation so I read more than I usually have time to read, so there will be a slow down this week for sure
11. A Moveable Feast the is a collection from multiple writers. Some were good and interesting stories, some were terrible and uninteresting. fortunately those that were terrible weren't terribly long. I gave it 3 stars as kind of an average between the good and the bad
12. Soulless Gail Carrier3 stars. A read that doesn't require much thought. combines vampires and werewolves and a preternatural women, or one without a soul. Takes place I'm 19th century London.
13. The Marvelous Land of Oz. Frank Baumvery ridiculous book, but enjoyable. This one starts several years (maybe) after the Wizard of Oz ends. The Tin Man and the scarecrow as well as Glenda the good are all part of the story.
14. Dyslexia and the Ipad. overcoming Dyslexia with Technology by James Nuttallvery disappointed. When you purchase a book with the hope you might learn something that could help your child you expect more than essentially a list of apps that could help.
15. Winter King by Thomas Penn4 stars
This is the story of Henry the VII from when he took the crown to slightly after his death. While it is an easy read it does take time to understand and take in
16. Sword of Hemlock by Jordan MacLeanI picked up this book because a friend of mine wrote it initially. It is not my usual genre but it was a surprise to find that it was very enjoyable. a female knight must save her father's land. there is also a supernatural element that must be overcome. it is an enjoyable and exciting read. The first of a trilogy
17. Four to Score4 stars easy read to not think about and it follows the pattern of the previous 3 books in the series
25. The Park Service Ryan Winfield. 3 stars. started a little slow but improved about halfway through
26. Allegiant - Veronica Roth4 stars
the third book of the trilogy and while it ties up all ends, dont expect a happy ending.
27. 1984 - George Orwell4 stars. I am now convinced that 90% of people who quote this book have never read it. sure it is about a dystopia in the year 1984 where Big Brother is always watching but it is more complex than that and we do not live in Orwell's 1984
Allegiant ruined the trilogy for me. :( I don't even care about the movie. I actually still haven't read 1984. I don't go around quoting either. Lol. I want to read it!
I can understand your thoughts on Allegient. I liked it somewhat, but it ruined some of the charactersAs for 1984, I read it with a group. otherwise would probably have never tried to read it again
28. Ozma of Oz4 stars. This is the story where Dorothy returns to Oz. In it we meet back up with old friends and new.
30. Bradbury - Fahrenheit 451. 2 stars. The story I remember from high school. It didn't improve with time
31. Her Mad Hatter - book 1 of Kingdom Series Collection by Marie Hall3.5 stars. it started ok but really it wrapped up the story too easily
32. A secret History. 3 stars. very disturbing and I probably should give it more stars because I found myself unable to stop reading once I got into the story but I am entirely to disturbed by it to ever pick it up again

Out of the Kingdom series, Gerard's Beauty was the one I liked the most.

Finally! Someone else who didn't like Fahrenheit 451. My sister adores it, but I couldn't stand it... this is one of the few books we agree not to talk about around each other ;)
no your not the only one. My dislike might stem from a poorly taught high school English class, but it has not lessened with time
34. Isolide Queen of the Western Isle - Roslindale Miles. 3 starsI don't know when I bought this book or why. It was merely found in my huge pile of books I have bought to read over the years. It is interesting enough I suppose but I didn't find myself entranced enough to continue reading for long periods of time. It is the first in the Tristan and Isolide novels and fortunately I don't have the others so that I feel I must read it.
35. High Five (Stephanie Plum#5) Janet Evan ovine3 stars. ok book one.that doesn't require thinking, but nothing spectacular
36. Gerard Beauty - Marie Hall. The 2nd book in the Kingdom Collection. definitely better than the first.
