My Sibling The Mythical Being! discussion

Hi everyone! This is a topic where you can introduce yourself to the rest of the book group, so that we can all get to know eachother a bit. Feel free to tell us a little about yourself (you know, things like your likes, dislikes, hobbies, favourite books, all that stuff) or even your relationship with the MSTV and MBTW series - for example how many times you've read them, which is your favourite, etc. We very much hope you enjoy being part of this group! ;)

Hello, I'm Daisy. Im a 13 year old girl and I love baking, reading, art, animals, Greek mythology and writing.

MSTV (My Sister the Vampire) is one of my favourite series (along with Harry Potter) and I've read them about a gazillion times. My favourites (impossible to pick just one) are probably Fangtastic, Love Bites, Star Style and Stake Out.

In my opinion, MBTW (My Brother the Werewolf) isn't as good so I haven't read that as much. My favourite of those has to be Puppy Love. :)

I'm Sophie, I'm 15 and I'm a girl. I have read the first few MSTV 3 times, the rest once and all the MBTW's once aswell. I don't normally read books like this. I'm a fan of dystopian (where the world is ending) but this series makes a really nice change!

I'm Jennifer. I love My sister the vampire and my brother the werewolf! I am really happy to be in this group!

Hi, my name is Gaby. I have read the My Sister's a Vampire books a few times, but until last month I didnt even realize there was another series so I haven't read that one. My hobbies are reading and watching TV, I like the color purple, my favorite series would be all the shadowhunter chronicle series by Cassandra Clare, Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu, The Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan, and somewhere in my very long list of faves is of course MSTV since it was the first series I had ever read all of.

They're really awesome.
Rick Riordan is also writing another series that involves Percy Jackson.
It's called Heroes of Olympus.
The 5th book of it is coming out Fall 2014.

I like those books too but I like the ones about Percy Jackson better.

I don't like spoiling things. It's more fun to read it on your own. :)

Well I'm reading it one chapter at a time with two other people (my mum and sis) so I have to wait for them to read the chapter before I can move onto the next one, so it takes a while.

Hiya! My name is Suzanne and I'm 16. I remembered reading the first MSTV book in my first year of high school(I'm in my 6th year now) and I decided to read it again out of boredom and now I'm hooked! Cannot wait to get books 5, 6, 7 and 8 from the library as I've ordered them. I will now be looking forward to reading MBTW as I didn't even know Sienna Mercer had another series! Woops.

There is no pressure in this book group to be an active member (or at least I hope there isn't) but it would be nice to talk to some more MSTV and MBTW fans! Here's a question for you all...What are you reading at the moment?

I'm reading Tintin: Flight 714 at the moment.

I'm reading a few things at the moment but I guess the main one is Artemis Fowl and the The Lost Colony. And, er ... If the first two questions were meant to be answered, I'm in my living room while my bro and sis watch Toy Story. And what I'm doing is going on Goodreads...
