This series is written by P.C. Cast!
I adore these books.
I heard that P.C. Cast plans to have around 9 books in the series.
BTW...does it bother anyone how many guys Zoey is stocking up on? LOL Since when did a girl need more than ONE man in her life. I thought that was complicated enough...

I love these books also. I wish Zoey would focus on just one guy.

I am not in a very good relationship with these books. Her romance issues in Chosen blew me through the roof in disgust and 'OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING ZOEY' but despite that they are very good books.

LMAO! I guess there is no doubt that I was completely exhausted when writing that post! LOL I edited it. I meant Stark, but for some reason I had Cassandra Clare's series in my head.

I hope it is Stark too. Heath drives me insane!!! And theres something about Erik that just doesnt seem right....

I know. Heath just isn't right for her. He doesn't fit correctly into her life, and I don't like his drinking problem. I like Erik, but I think he is too possessive. Stark is perfect for her... :)

Yes i agree. I also dont think she should be with heath because she doesnt actually like him, she likes his blood and thats as much as the book tells us.

My husband thinks that she is going to end up keeping ALL of them. LOL

I love these books, I've read all of them. I hope she keeps going with them.

There are supposed to be 9 books in the series, so I am pretty sure she will keep writing them.

That's what I don't get. I can't imagine trying to handle more than one guy with my crazy schedule.

What I don't get...is why don't these guys notice any of the MANY other girls that are around? Why are they ALL hot for Zoey. I mean, I get her appeal, but seriously!

That's the whole Mary Sue syndrome that happens with some of these series. The heroine is the most beautiful, the most interesting, the most attractive, and all the guys want her and all the girls want to be her.

AMEN to the above. I agree that the heroine can be all that but that doesn't mean everyone around her needs to be background noise. Give one of her friends a nice hook-up

As for the series, I stopped after she got with the teacher and then found out he was using her. DUH!!! But the teacher/student thing was too Mary Kay Letourneau for me. I may re-start the series to find out who this Stark is. I liked Eric but am curious about this Stark you speak of ;)

Stark is an interesting character. He didn't come into play until the last book that was released...You'd probably like him. I liked Eric the most until Stark came into play. :)

I'll have to push through and try and get back into the series. But this may become a 9 book series? That's one thing I'm becoming tired of....the extended, extended, extended series. What's wrong with the trilogy concept? LOL

I'm glad someone finally said it! There are VERY few series that are worth reading past the third book. Bring back the trilogys! While they're at it maybe they can go back to making movies that aren't three and a half hours long!

LOL I like shorter series too! There are only a few series that I was happy were longer!

The only possible reason I would continue reading the books after the teacher incident is to see how more ridiculose it can get and who she will pick!

I find that if you are going to have a series with some crazy amount of books in the series you have to keep it interesting and not lose the escence from the previous book.

I god! I just realized that Tempted is going to be released later this month. Wow.

This is turning out to be an expensive month for me lol. I can't wait!

Tempted was amazing, though it was very sad at the end. I can't wait for the movie to come out also.

i think its 12 book now not 9.....anyways the series lost its spark for me after book 4 but for the sake of finishing the series i'm still reading it.

i just recently finished the latest book 8 "Awakened" and didn't like it at all.....its like the CASTs r desperately trying to end the series regardless of the literature as well as the plot. This is a review of the buk from my blog http://the-a-jurnale.blogspot.com/201...

I was actually considering re-starting this series. But possibly a 12 book series? Looks less and less likely that I'll start up again.
