Am I the only person who went through a gamut of emotions with this book? I got worried - who was going to die/survive? I wept - another well loved character died. I laughed like hell - Cyhan's response to how he sensed Elaine Prathion's proximity. I got angry - at imaginary characters treatment of Mordecai!
Normally, I either love a book, hate a book, or just read a book, without any trauma. This one seems to have been written by a psychologist to test public responses. I loved the book, but jeez, it wiped me out emotionally. :-)

This series has certainly come a long way - it started as just another fun fantasy book that let me pretend to be a mage while I ignored all the grammar errors. Then it turned into this. :)
