Book 1, expected to be a fast released series I believe.
*coming in a month though, but going to be an excellent addition to dark romance genre! I love CJR and Tears of Tess .
Consequences are not bad too

I'm starting Archer's Voice and it has a dark element running through it and an unconventional hero. The heroine also has a tragic past. It's well written and I'm really captivated by it. Sort or reminds me a little of Captive in the Dark series.

I quite enjoyed! I was really hung up on the dark duet series and came across this book!

captive protagonist + the dark,twisted wtf moments and quite a bit of erotic scenarios going on! Give it a go ;)

Tears of Tess and Quintessentially Q are great! Twisted Together out soon!

Another that I enjoyed which has hints of slavery was Beneath the Burn by Pam Goodwin!

Sherri Hayes Finding Anna Series worth a look too although its a bit tamer

Try: Madeleine Abducted by M.S. Willis AND Torn From You and With You both by Nashoda Rose. Both are exciting and very dark, similar to the Dark Duet series.

Hey Frannie! Just finished reading "her Masters Courtesan", after seeing all the great reviews. Yuck and more yuck. I love the dark duet, and honestly I like really dark reads, but this one didn't do it for me. The author does say "this is not a love story" at the beginning of the book, so yes, there is a warning with that, but I proceeded anyways. You may like, but I HATED it, even returned it. If you are somebody that still likes some redemption in the guy...you won't get it in this book.
