Background: Damion had a poor life growing up, both his parents died at a young age and he lives with his older brother who can barely spare him a glance. Not only that, he struggles with almost all of his classes. Which plainly shows he wont be having a promising future. Except for philosophy, the one class he takes and always do's amazing in. It's the place where he's free to share his opinions and almost, in a sense, feel free.

Personality: Closed off, cold, and isolated.

Appearance: Dark black hair, green eye, overall plain wardrobe.

Family: Mom and Dad died in a natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina. Lives with older brother.

Age: 17

Background: A middle class person, with her brother Chester. She has a slight personality disorder, bipolar, which was caused from school related stress.

Appearance:

Personality: Since she has her slight bipolar disorder she acts very tough sometimes and very overtly sweet the rest.

Family: Parents are moved away and lives with brother Chester

I walked down the cold cracked pavement taking in my surroundings. Red and orange leaves flew past me, marking the beginning of fall. Greenery, slightly marred by the weather, was still luscious and growing. I liked walks like this because they gave me some time to think. About school. My future. My family. Everything and nothing. Looking up from the ground I saw one other person walking down the lone sidewalk. A girl; a girl with long blonde hair and shockingly bright blue eyes. She doesn't belong in a rundown place like this , was my first thought, as I continued staring.

I was walking home. Eager to just be I. The safe sanctuary of my brother's home. I glance across the street. Oh gosh that guy is staring at me. Maybe if I walk a little faster...... I need to get home as soon as possible. It isn't safe out here with the crazy people staring at me, the whizzing cars, we could be blown up at any second for all we know! I continue on the road to my home.

It was blatantly obvious that once she noticed me she began speeding up her step. She seeming anxious? Because of me? Or was she afraid of something else? This isn't a safe neighborhood at all, I didn't even know other people walked this way until now... "Hey!" I decided to call out. "You alright?"

Oh my gosh he talked to me well I can't be rude... "Yes I am perfectly fine thank you" keep walking, keep walking.... WAIT A SEC

"Yo what you want to do with me? Huh? Wanna lure me into some dangerous trap? Well it ain't gonna work bud so you best be on our way" I swiftly turn away and keep walking. Hah he wound get a piece of me. I am the toughest in this place.

What in the world?!? Wait, of course! She probably thinks I'm some creep or something that she has to seem 'tough' with. Why else would she change her emotion so quickly? I jogged back up so I was walking in sync with her. "No, I was just worried, this isn't really the safest neighborhood you know?" Looking at her face I noticed the blank stare lying there.
Sometimes I wonder why I even take the time out for people. There is never any amount of respect in return. "You know what? Ill just be on my way, see ya." I said indifferently, shrinking back into my shell.

"Yeah get outa here punk!" Seconds later... "Oh wait! My brother, ugh I don't know why but he is a weakling, says if anyone reacts this way to hand them a weird note. The notes full of lies though, my brother is just a sack of potatoes."
I scowl and hand him the note. I can't believe my useless brother makes me do this. It is such a lie. At least it makes people more afraid of me. I deserve that respect!

The note says:
Dear whoever was weirded out by my sister,
You probably noticed in the past minute or so she has had a sudden personality change. You also probably think you're a freak or that she is. Don't worry you aren't the freak. She isn't either but she is bipolar. I am having her hand out these notes so people don't get the wrong idea and start a fight with her. Those end badly. Please treat her normal but if you feel creeped or weirded out now do not offend her. Especially if she is on her tough personality.

Punk!??! Oh, please. "Alright, alright, ill read it." I grabbed the dirty scrap of paper that had words scattered messily across it. At first glance it made me jump in slight shock. Then I looked at it once again, giving it a more critical overview.

Looking up I was surprised to see a look of defiance in her eyes. I knew it was the true her at that moment. The girl who doesn't want people to look at her differently because of a silly variance. I knew she didn't deserve that either. Giving her back the note I simply said "Ok."

"My brother tries to like explain this to me but I'm just like psha whatever ever brother you are stupid I don't have an alter ego I'm not Clark Kent" I look him over. Not bad looking. But he believes my brother. Oh well that's an issue that can be solved later. I wonder if he can take a punch..... Not now. Now is not a good time.

Who is that?! I thought frantically. "Well, I'm sure you don't." I replied not quite knowing how to respond. "So, uhh...anyways..." He paused once again. "Umm, so want me to walk to home or something?" As soon as the words flew out of my mouth I wanted to take them back. Walk her home?! Brilliant idea Damion. "Actually, maybe we should introduce each other first. I'm Damion." I said, my hand reaching out.

"I'm Anuenue. It's Hawaiian for rainbow. But you can just call me Nue or Rain whichever you prefer" I blush. He wants to walk me home! What if he has a crush on me! What if he becomes one if those obsessive/crazy people that kills their girlfriend! Well the right thing to do is walk home with him.

"Damion is such a cool name." it really isn't. It's a more hardcore name. Why'd I say that! Stupid stupid stupid. He probably hates me now. I look over at him wonderingly why hasn't called me rude and walked away. I mean I insulted him! I am a horrible person.

"I guess ill call you Nue" I said with a smile. I examined her for a bit, wondering if I made her uncomfortable. As I saw her blush I smiled. "Thank you, that's really nice of you." Does she like me? I mean she did blush. Well, that's not my goal I thought. Just friends and such. "Well, wanna start walking?"

"Yeah." I start walking next to him. There is a thick layer of awkward surrounding us. None of us says anything. Finally I decide to start talking. It's the right thing to do. "So I haven't seen you around here before. Do you love nearby?"

"Well, yeah, I do, in that apartment complex a few streets down. You know the place? She hasn't seen me here? I walk here everyday! "What do you mean, do you walk down here often? Cause I come here everyday"

"Well no just I haven't seen you at school and you seen like the age that needs to go to school. Oh not like I'm judging you or anything but uh I'm going to be quiet now." He seems like my age. Maybe he's a high school dropout! I hope not. Or maybe he graduated. Then I probably shouldn't hang out with him if he is like 3 years older than me.......

"Oh well I'm, uh, a Junior at the local high school...what about you? You probably haven't seen me cause I'm not that popular..." Wait, what!?? Why would I say that?! Am I trying to humiliate myself? But, then again, does she even care?

"That's cool. and popular people suck just so you know." aww whyd I day that! what if he WANTS to be popular. ugh I just screwed this up. "I am really sorry." Wait why did I apologize what if he didn't nt me too. oh gret now he probably thinks Im a freak.

"Uhh it's ok" he tells me. I can see it is awkward. "Cross the street here" I tell him so he starts I cross. OH MY GOD! "No jay walking!! It's against the law!" I tackle him to the ground.

"Wha..what! What the heck are you doing?!" I pushed her off of me lightly and lifted her along with myself back onto the street. "What was that for?"

"I.... I..... I'm really sorry..... I just..... You were..... You were..... You were about to break the law!" I stammered at him. I am freaking out. Is he a law breaker? I hope not! I could be guilty by association!

"It's not a big deal" I replied pointing at the crosswalk about half a foot away from where we stood. "I was heading for that" I turned to her with a leer. Noticing her...shattered...expression I paused. "It's alright" I said with a sigh of resignation.

"I'm sorry" I say once again and an silent as we continue walking. I stare at the street. Confused. Why am I so weird. I thought I said it in my head. Turns out I didn't. Luckily he didn't hear my over the roar of a huge truck rumbling past when suddenly *personality change* I have the urge to jump on the back if that truck and take a ride...

"I said its alright, don't worry about it" I say with a reassuring smile on my face. Glancing over I saw a strange glint within her eyes, what is she thinking about?

I see him staring at me questioningly "how rebellious are you?" I ask with a smirk on my face

"Umm..." I said not quite sure how to respond. I knew she saw the hesitance in my eyes so I quickly glanced away.
