Tell Me Something Good discussion

I haven't posted anything lately, but it doesn't mean good things don't happen every day. I just need to take the time to notice them and share them. (Maybe not every day, you guys would get sick of me :))

We have had a bout of snowy, icy weather this week. A few mornings ago, I was cleaning off my car windows before work, and a neighbor I'd never even spoken to offered to de-ice my porch. I got home after dark, with groceries to unload, and he had done just as he promised. It was so nice not having to worry about a slick porch after work and grocery shopping.

That sort of kindness reinforces (or restores) your faith, doesn't it?

Yes, it definitely does. I live alone, and I'm pretty independent, but sometimes it's nice to have a little assistance. :-)
