OK, I have a rather shameful admission to make here... I have never read a Diskworld book!!! Will it matter if I jump in and read this one first? I see it's number 15 in the series.
Hmm it's difficult to say really. I've read several but not in any particular order and I'm coping okay lol. I think you just have to delve in and see which type you prefer. Personally I like the "death" and "guards" series over the rest but I don't think it matters where you start.
Great, I'll join in with this one shortly then. I've always meant too read them at some point. Thank you.
I finished this book a while back but have been way too busy to post...sorry :(
I really enjoyed the book. The humour was brilliant and I found myself reading more slowly in order to fully appreciate it. I think this particular discworld book would be a very good start for those new to the series as it introduces a lot of characters that turn up in subsequent novels.
I definitely recommend this one :)
