Team Spreadsheet
- Once all columns of a goal have been filled out a new goal will appear within 5 minutes.
- Do not change existing pages. You may add a new page to your spreadsheet if you want to track additional information.
- Mark books as used in your books list once they are used for a goal.
- Only books read during the current round may be applied towards goals, once the round has ended those books may no longer be used for a goal.
- Once you merge teams, you may use your books for your partner teams goals. List them in your books list and on their goals sheet. Mark them as used.
- If you end up with more than 3 open goals, contact a moderator for help.
Hi team! I'm Camilla from Finland, this is my second time in participating in NBRC team challenges. My favorite genres are fantasy, horror, scifi and YA. Looking forward to competing in our team.I will be leaving for our summer cottage early Saturday morning and will not be able to check in many times a day, but will try to check in on Sunday (we have only our iPad with us, I don't much like using it) to see what tasks we have been assigned.
The master spreadsheet and team spreadsheet has been added to the beginning of your team thread.
Captains and co-captains should message the moderator account with their team name and google doc e-mail to be added to the approved editors of the team spreadsheet.

Okay so, friend request sent.Time to look at the spreadsheets and see our first tasks.
The challenge will start tomorrow, we'll still negotiating the time zone.
Also I have to work on some mod duties today, so I'll be on and off on the thread - sorry :(
Oh, and don't forget to tell me the name of your shelves.
Okay,so our current goals are:

I'll start by reading Graceling which was first published in 2008
Cool. I only have one book below 3.01 on my list. And it's a borrowed one, so it needs to be read soon, I'll start with that one.

Challenge starts in a little more than 6 hours!!!
SO EXCITED!!!!
(Even if I'm probably asleep by then)
Mod duties are done, for now. So, time for Introductions.I'm Sonia, 40 years old, although I usually need to have my ID handy because nobody ever believes that - it must be the giggling. I live in sunny Portugal and have a pet cat, called Simba.
I used to be the crazy-ideas-to-torture-members mod, thanks to my inner chip'n dale, but that has changed a bit since Kelly and Tea joined the team - check the RPG folder if you don't believe me.
Anyway, I love to read, usually around 2-3 books a week. Lately RL is acting up, meaning I read 4 books in last couple of months which is not making me a happy camper.
My favorite genres are urban-fantasy, romantic suspense (specially MM) and some mystery & thriller. But, I read almost everything but poetry, and I'm not a big fan of classics or horror.
Oh, and I'm Eni's big sister (she's the captain of team Spartacus) which always causes a friendly sibling banter on team challenges. It also causes people to hear me talking about my adorable almost 3 yo niece A LOT
Hi. My shelf is Gladiator-Games
I can start Sleeping with the Enemy rating 3.73 if that's ok. It will be finished tomorrow.
Hey Reva, welcome to the team.Nice. Just make sure you don't start it before the countdown hits zero!
Hello everyone! I go by DeeDee online (but nowhere else). I'm fiftysomething years old, married - with - adult- children, American, currently living in Georgia. I usually read 14 books per month, sometimes more, sometimes less. I also am usually reading 2-4 books at a time but right now I'm only reading 1. Since I began it before the Gladiator Games began it doesn't count. My next book though WILL count. I see that someone has claimed each of the 3 initial goals so I'll check back and see what the next set of goals is.I like reading Fantasy & Science Fiction (including some paranormal), 19th century classics, and history/biography non-fiction, plus a little bit of every genre in print (NOT erotica).
One time when I did a team challenge everyone friended each other -- do we want to do that for this challenge? :)
The countdown clock is at zero so anything you start reading counts. My understanding is that everything you read counts-- be it for meeting goals or points depending on the number of pages in the book above 160 pages.

I just need to finish the book I already started, shouldn't take to long, and then I jump right into the world of Graceling :)
Good Morning Team.I woke up with an annoying headache... Took my meds to avoid it to turn into a migraine, so, I need to wait an hour or so before trying to read.
Anyway, added Reva's book to the spreadsheet - Good Work master dragon slayer!
Our new goal is
Read a book with an average goodreads rating of between 4 and 5
(which is easier than the previous ones)
Meanwhile, read whatever you feel like, since all books (as long as they meet the rules) count towards attack points.

Sorry to hear that. I hope it gets better. I too woke up with a headache, but for the moment it's bearable and doesn't stop me to read.
