Crazy for Young Adult Books discussion

If you've read books 1 and 2 in the Breathe series, Kathy, Purvika, and I would love to have you join us.

I think you and I are both behind. LOL I'm going to work on getting this one read shortly but I have to finish 3-4 library books first. Ugh...how about you?

Yes! I'm so behind! I have a few that are already late and Cress will be soon!
uh...plus I have to finish Towering for my challenge that I still have to do for the Around the World and Lindy's Diary if I could ever get it to come in from overdrive!

And Sweet Legacy is one of the ones that is due back so I definitely need to get that one started! I have a hold for it on overdrive as well but I'm #2 in the queue and there are only 2 copies! lol!

LOL We just keep on a truckin'! We have each other's back and understand our situations, so we each read and comment as we go. If you have to do one before me and vice-versa, it's okay. We'll be there for each other as always. :)

Vicki, do you have this one your NOOK?
I have the paperback and I was going to try to come up with a schedule.
I have a prologue, 40 chapters and an epilogue so that's 422 pages in all.

We could do this schedule is you want.

Day 1: Prologue to ch. 9 (102 pgs)
Day 2: ch. 10 to ch. 19 (95 pgs)
Day 3: ch. 20 to ch. 29 (105 pgs)
Day 4: ch. 30 to Epilogue (120pgs)

Does this look okay? I know you can't start today so you tell me when you want to start. And if the schedule doesn't work then we can make adjustments. :)

I have it on my Kindle App, so the schedule by chapters works for me. I'm SO anxious to get to this one! LOL

The next three-four days wee are focusing on and , so how about if we try an official start on Friday?

I can't wait to see what happens and how Evan and Emma finally get to be together! Because if they aren't tomgether by the end, after the mess of the last book? I. Will. Be. SO. Mad! lol!

Okay here I go again. Can you remind me how it ended? I just RARELY remember! You can use a spoiler. LOL

okay! (view spoiler)[ Emma moved in with her mom and she couldn't even call her "Mom!" UGH! She was awful! And then her mom's boyfriend stays over sometimes and Emma has nightmares about the abuse she suffered. And her mom was awful about this! But her boyfriend talked with her about it and they would stay up late at night watching infomericals and so they got close. He says he fell in love with her, they kissed. She never would talk with Evan about the issues with her mom or the nightmares or her BFF (forget her name). Some how or other Evan and her mom's boyfriend (forget his name too! lol!) get into it and mom's boyfriend beats the crap out of Evan and Emma yells at him and then leaves Evan pretty much unconscious at her house. I don't remember where she went, but I remember her just walking out the door and thinking WTH!!!!! (hide spoiler)]

Cole (view spoiler)[ I knew there was another guy in this one and I was afraid going in. But Cole just couldn't handle the way Emma dealt with things. Her emotions and everything else. I didn't think he was a bad guy, but his leaving did help her. I'm just glad she realized she could lean on Evan and her friends before it was too late. (hide spoiler)]
