Superheroes and Comic Book Club discussion

So here's mine. Thanks for the invitation to post about it. Going Through the Change: A Menopausal Superhero Novel. Just like her author, the book is sort of an odd duck. It's been described as half women's fiction/ half action hero and that seems pretty accurate to me.

People who like it praise my characters and humor. People who don't like it complain mostly about the ending (cliffhanger).

I wrote this book to remember why writing was fun and I did definitely have fun writing it. Part of it also came out of frustration with every female hero being somewhere between 13 and 20. I wanted some full grown women heroes. So, I wrote some :-)

It's had a pretty good start considering that no one has ever heard of me, and I've just finished the sequel and sent it to the publisher, so here's hoping it will find a readership and keep going.
