Yes, you can count me in. I've wanted to read it since enjoying The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde last year!
Oh I would love to as it's one of my all time favourites- but my copy is back in Australia! Might see if I can download it on my phones ereader thing :)
I was thinking of starting on 3rd March and just discussing when we've all finished (hopefully 2 or 3 weeks should be enough?)
I started to read Jane Eyre over the weekend. I found I had to reread the first few pages to get into the writing style but after that it just flowed. I've not read much due to work commitments but I am really enjoying the story so far. I'm currently at chapter 7.
I have two copies, one in hardback and the other a free Kobo download, so far I've been reading the Kobo (I'm desperately trying to cut down on my book buying so I'm endeavouring to convert to e-books lol)

I'm going to hopefully start this soon (I'm reading srveral books at the same time so I need to finish some first!). Really looking forward to it though...I've heard that it's a lot of people's favourite classic =)
pJust started it and am only a chapter and a half in but I love the writing style and can't wait to see what happens to Jane
The thing that struck me almost immediately when I started this book is how much empathy and admiration I had towards Jane.

I've finished the book. I gave it 5 stars. At first I thought maybe it should have 4 but then I remembered how many times I got up in the night to read just a few more pages and how I got so involved that I didn't notice a train journey at all!
Jane's character and strength was amazing, she immediately struck me as being way before her time. The story was extremely well written and flowed nicely along. I did find the ending a bit abrupt but it didn't disappoint me.
Overall I loved this book and only regret that I left it so long before getting to it. I will definitely reread it at some point.
Finally I would like to thank Charlotte for starting this readalong...without which this brilliant book might have gone a few more years without my attention.

I'll be picking it up properly soon I think =)
My all-time favourite book. I loved Jane Austen books for years but for some reason hadn't read any Bronte. It was only after watching the wonderful BBC Jane Eyre series that I read this.

Jane is one my favourite fictional characters now :)

I'm determined to actually get into this now. I'm really not in the mood for YA so I think I need to read a classic. So far I'm really liking it...not too far in at the moment but I really need to know what happens to this character!
I know I said back in April that I was going to get through Jane Eyre then but I didn't manage to get any further than about the 140 page mark.I started again this week (mostly because I have to have it read for university by the end of next week) and although I found the beginning a little boring, maybe because I'd already previously read it, I'm now about halfway through and actually really enjoying it!

I was just wondering if anyone wants to read Jane Eyre with me at some point soon? (I'm thinking of starting at the beginning of March)
