I'd like to suggest The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion, which is an adult contemporary following an OCD scientist's search for the perfect wife, and also The Martian by Andy Weir, which is about a man who gets stranded on Mars (ive started it but would love to have someone to discuss it with and I've put it on hold for now). Both are relatively new so I think most supermarkets have them relatively cheap =) I'll add the links to this when I'm at the computer - the app doesn't have the link function xD

I'm new but I'm going to jump in and nominate any way, my nomination is for The Sweetness at the bottom of the Pie by Ray Bradley .
Hi Katrina! Welcome to the group! The nominations for the next picks have already been collated into a poll for this next pick (25th March - 25th May) sorry. You can vote on those ones up until Saturday.
I'm really interested in your choice though so you could nominate it next time? I've heard great things about that one and I haven't read a good detective story in a while =)
Sorry about that =/
The poll has now finished. The two winning books were The Rosie Project and Mr Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore. These will join The Haunting of Hill House for our next read.

The time has come for us to suggest books for the next group read (staring 25th March). Please feel free to nominate anything from any genre. The nominated titles will go in a poll starting next Monday and the two most popular will join The Haunting of Hill House for our next read.
The result of the recent poll confirmed that the majority of members would prefer to keep the current reads to two monthly.
Thanks
Jen
