Angel sighed and winced. The assassin didnt have to be that rough. She touched the wound on her neck, she snarled angrily. She pulled up her sleeve and looked at her assassins tattoo. Angel smirked and pulled her sleeve down. She even fooled Conrad and that boy. "I might not be good at fighting, but deception" She said to herself
"Tricky aren't you?" Flint appeared out of the shadows. "So your part of the Brotherhood too?" He smirked, knowing that she wasn't because she had no blades.
"No, im not" Angel said turning to him. "That hurt" She said pointing to her neck. "But, i have suffered worse, so dont feel bad"
"No, im not" Angel said turning to him. "That hurt" She said pointing to her neck. "But, i have suffered worse, so dont feel bad"
Angel smirked at his reaction. "Get of your high horse, i was joking!" She said and leaned casually against the wall with her hands in her jeans pockets. "No, i came here on my own accord. I want answers, and answers im gonna get"
"So do I." His grey eyes flashed mysteriously. "Why were you in the Director's office? Where you looking for the file?"
Angel shrugged. "Maybe I was. And i wanted to see if he believes i am an 'Anti-Assassin'" She made air quotes when she said Anti-assassin.
Angel had a blank look on her face. "Great, give yourself a medal"
Angel looked at her feet. "Three years ago"
"Same time I was excommunicated." Flint said coldly. "Do you remember the fiasco in Italy?" He bit his lip, if she could answer this... well it meant she truly was an assassin.
Angel nodded slowly. "Yeah, that was you. Wasn't it?" She asked. She had heard about it and went to investigate. Angel always wanted to know who caused the trouble, she clenched her fists.
"I was in charge of the team. Yes, I caused it." Flint knew he didn't it wasn't his fault. But he blamed himself, it was all he could blame.
Angel hesitated before punching him very lightly in the shoulder. She gave him a sad but uplifting smile. "Don't beat yourself up! I'm here to do that!" She said hoping it would cheer him up. "Seriously, it wasn't your fault"
"Sure..." He mumbled looking off to the distance. "Sorry about your neck by the way, I thought you were one of them!"
"Don't forget my stomach!" She smiled. "Come on! Don't worry about it! But if I managed to fool you.." Her eyes sparkled mischievously
Angel smiled a little wider. "There you go!"
"Bye Lord high horse!" she teased and vanished into the shadows
