I nominate Rambles beyond Railways or Notes on Cornwall taken afoot (All one title) by Wilkie Collins. For those who like or dislike Cornwall. Or for those who live there.
For Fukui's Sake: Two Years In Rural Japan. Not sure if this counts as a travel book, but it sounds really interesting.
I am going to nominate French Revolutions: Cycling the Tour de France by Tim Moore. It is a book that I have read, and think others should too, as it is so very funny

Wendy wrote: "I'd like to nominate Books, Baguettes & Bedbugs by Jeremy Mercer"I'll second this one!
Gisela wrote: "For Fukui's Sake: Two Years In Rural Japan. Not sure if this counts as a travel book, but it sounds really interesting."I'd like to second this, Japanese culture is so different to ours and it is usually the cities that are explored. I'd like to read about the countryside there.
