The nominations thread for the October Non Fiction Read is now open, please suggest your book choices below.

To get a better variety of non fiction books we are suggesting themes for each month, so the Theme for October is Travel.

This thread will remain open until 5th September and then will be closed for voting.

Please remember that the books need to be readily available in as many formats as possible at a reasonable price.

I am going to nominate French Revolutions: Cycling the Tour de France by Tim Moore. It is a book that I have read, and think others should too, as it is so very funny

I'd like to second this, Japanese culture is so different to ours and it is usually the cities that are explored. I'd like to read about the countryside there.
